Stopped printing yellow

Out of yellow ink? If your ink is full, then you most likely have a dried up yellow ink path or the sponge at the bottom of the printer is full and preventing ink to pass through to the paper. Chances are, you are plugged up and need a new printer - HP is water based and if not used on a constant bases, the ink will dry and cause clogging. Making disk

Driver disk for what? You should just be able to plug this into a PC and install the drivers from the HP website without needing a disk of any sort. They are available here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&product=3194498 If you are not sure what your operating system is, go to the start menu, right click on computer, and choose properties and it should be listed

C6280 will not print on card of more than 160 grams

Sounds like the settings may need to be checked. Are you sure there is no pieces of paper in the path? Also, did you change the density of the cards from what you used to use?

PRINT INK CARTRIDGE ALIGNMENT FAILED HP C6280

Hi,If the alignment failed on HP Photosmart C6280, Try to check if any of the cartridges are low on ink. if so replace them and try to re-alignIf that is not the issue, Remove the Cartridges from the printer and clean the contacts with lint free cloth and put them back in. The printer should go thru auto - alignment..If this fails too, Press Cancel button on printer and Press the Menu button ( setup button ) and scroll to Tools menu - Press OK - Under tools option you will find Clean Cartridges - Press OK.If this process too does not fix the issue, mostly likely your printer has gone bad. It needs replacement. The best i can suggest you will be to Call HP support - 1-800-474-6836 and check best deal they can offer you on upgrade printer.Regards,Suhail

I lost my install disc for my HP C6280printer. How

You lost your disc? No problem!

Just go to HP's website and download the drivers and software, then install them on your computer and you will be ready to go!

Their website is located at http://www.hp.com. Look for downloads and then enter your make and model of printer to locate the software. Then just follow the prompts to download and install it. Disconnect your printer from your computer before installing the software and reconnect it after the install is complete or when you are told to do so during the installation procedure.

Hope this helps?

0xc18a0106 error on HP C6280

This can be caused by a number of problems however a common cause is when the pins in the ink cartridge bays haven't properly pierced the cartridge(s) when they were originally inserted. If the cartridge is almost empty it may be worthwhile trying to remove it and manually piercing it yourself with a pin.

Would you kindly rate my answer please if this has helped resolve the problem - thanks :)
