There should grey button on the front panel(see link to image)http://i.imgur.com/raD4l.jpgIf the PC doesn't fire up after pressing that button check your power cables in the back of the machine.

you got just 3 pci port no agp no pci express port....so is a litlle imposible to upgrade you video card

As you can see from the specs listed there, your model did not include a wireless card from the factory.

Adding one yourself though is quite easy.

You can get an actual wireless card that you plug into an empty slot in your motherboard (inside the case of the computer) which requires a small amount of screwdriver work.

Or you can buy a Wireless USB Adapter which is a small device the size of your thumb which plugs into any USB port on your computer. These are very easy to install, just insert the CD which comes with the unit, run the installer program on it and follow its instructions. Then just plug the adapter into any open USB port on your computer when it tells you to. Thats pretty much it.

The USB adapter is good because you can move it easily from one computer to another if you want without having to open up the computer case.

It is probably getting a stop error and automatically restarting. You can stop this by hitting F8 rapidly after you power on. If you do it properly you'll get a black and white screen. One of the options is:

• Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure

Choose that one.
Now when you get an error, the system won't reboot and you can find out what is causing your failure.

The size is not an issue with the hardware normally. Usually it has to do with the operating system. If you are running an OS like windows xp you should have no problem.

Just make sure you are using the SAME type interface hard drive. Example PATA Parallel ATA, or Serial ATA (SATA).

in most PCs the MB and cables inside will have provision to add

2 HDDs
2 Drives (CD or DVD)
1 floppy drive(now it's obsolete)

in a IDE system the data cables inside will be aprox 3 inch wide and the MB will have 2 IDE slots to fix the cables....
in a SATA system the data cables inside will be aprox 1 inch wide and the MB will have 4 SATA slots to fix the cables....from 2 HDD and 2 Disk Drives....

you should know how to install a new HD and make it primary or slave depending on which HD has your OS...

1) Computer unplugged from Power

2) Viewing the rear of the computer case there is a Thumbscrew you loosen. It is on the Left side, approximately half way up. Doesn't come all the way out. (Shouldn't)

3) Above the thumbscrew you will see a 'Bump' in the side case cover. This is a place to put your fingers, when pulling back on the side panel.

Thumbscrew loosened, pull back on the side panel. If memory serves the side panel only comes back so far, then it is lifted up, and out.

If I may;

BEFORE you reach inside your computer, I advise you should follow some simple Anti-Static guidelines.

Your body carries Static electricity.
Static electricity will FRY out computer hardware components.
You won't see it, or feel it.

Computer unplugged from power, computer case open, TOUCH the metal frame of the computer case.
That's it.
This will relieve your body of Static.

Should you get up for any reason while working on your computer, leave, then come back, Touch the metal frame again.

Touch the metal frame before, you take the new ram stick/s out of their protective anti-static bag/s.

It depends what program you used to add it in the first place. Open the software and look for settings, or just uninstall it.

old PCs do that, for many reasons. but no PC told at all just HP. 40 years of PCs ,10000 + models nobody can guess ever. but I do have the answer, in pure generic form. did you buy the PC like that used and bad Wifi. ?

1. the wifi card is missing, as was super common 10+ years ago.
2. someone put in the wrong card, not from HP list
3. HP blacklists (bios blocks) none HP cards (wifi)
4. the card needs a driver to work if not it is dead or 1/2 dead.
5. the PC needs 1 more driver to make the wifi buttons all work , all buttons related, if not they are dead or act odd.
6. The OS is infected, no OS told at all, not one clue nor if upgraded the OS, and not vast drivers are wrong or missing, (classic)

Im sure this this is not the free w10 upgrade, if it was that too kills drivers dead, for sure HP told you this unstated PC will not run W10 and has zero support from HP, on w10 AS YOUR SUPPORT PAGE WILL DISCLOSE TO YOU AT HP.COM

bad news now your bricked it just like miillions did google bios update bricked my PC and cry. why are you here and not at HP.com only they can recover bios. they changed the rules now 10 time. so only they know this, and are pain to deal with. UEFI is the enemy here, new rule and regressive as can be. in fact all new PCs can not be regressed, and some old now they even delete the 20 version of bios there, to force that. not saying they did that to your PC, but keep that in your head on all HP PC. the last bios upgrade stated, no going back. the Cntrl_+B might work , the flashback bios trick\ in your manual if you read it.

nobody can we erase all and reload the OS fresh. did not say you can not try but that 99 out 100 will fail.
