Hi, did you try removing the battery and just power it up with the AC adapter. It that works, then just replace the battery. I had the simular issue with my HP laptop and just received a new 9v battery off of amazon for 30 bucks. HP wanted over 90 dollars for a 6v battery. hope this helps. It the laptop still doesn't power up with the battery removed then the adapter could be bad. It would be good to find another adapter before buying an adapter. Note: alot of adapters work with different models of laptop.

hi, no a cmos battery only keep the added settings for the cmos. it this battery goes dead the factory settings restore and it will still start as normal. but id start with the main battery or charger.

Did you install drivers for your VGA and everything else?

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop. They are usually free of charge.

If you were to log on to the asus.com web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I would try the blue Fn bottom right along with the F2 key

FN+F2 OR FN+F8 or sometimes there is a push or slide switch on or around the keyboard

my laptop is a acer and my wireless switch is on the front of the laptop

reinstall your webcam driver.

Just go into the webcams controls or tools, and uncheck mirroring, it just mirrors the imige making it opposite of the normal view

what a shame sorry to hear that. number one,,dont turn it on anymore untill you dry it all out. you will need to open it ALL UP TO DRY THIS OUT,IF YOU ARE NOT SURE HOW TODO THIS,THEN GET SOME ONE WHO CAN.. i would not hold out that it is going to work after,its a shame you turnd it on,not saying its done any harm but it wont help the laptop. i wish all the luck that you get it dryed out and it still works.
