I had a similar problem with a different piece of kit, the answer is go to the options menu of your TV, there you will find the composite settings tweak those while the cyclone is plugged in and your picture will re appear. It may be too late for you but i had just bought one of these units 1tb version, the problem i found was even though it reads .vob file ( kinda suggests DVD compatibility ) it really only means that, navigation only allows going to a DVD folder and then on to the individual .vob files. If you know what I am talking about then you will realise it means no DVD title screen navigation! I can tell you I felt ripped off. Another issue is that many files that played flawlessly on my old ioni media player either played with no picture but sound or sound and no picture, i have read somewhere that this machine is just a large hard drive with a media player attached and not the reverse. Lastly I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy one because you may think well maybe there will be a firmware update to fix the problems, I downloaded the firmware zip from the maplins site and checked the properties, its was created two years ago, they have done nothing since. Going to the sumvision website gives you no way of complaining just a link at the bottom of the page to some Chinese website. Did I mention that although the unit ticks all the boxes for looks but the remote is very cheap and nasty as the GUI in the box. I got a refund! regards I am looking at this to replace it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM4n9sLI-b8 any thoughts?
the connector may have come loose from the player board, you could try opening it and replacing/resoldering the port, but it would be best if you just sent it back for repair.
The HDD will spin up and may stay on for as long as the computer is connected depending on how the computer bios is set up.
I set mine to switch off 10 minutes after no activity. That gives the HDD time to write to it and check itself.
From this and several other posts you made on this device (I assume you are the same Anonymous poster), it appears you do not have a formatted hard drive installed in the unit, or you didn't know the computer is treating it as an external drive (even if it calls it an "unknown" USB device. Your computer is looking for the file system in the enclosure. The directions for finding the unit from a Windows computer (written for the mkv, not the mkv 2, but they would probably work the same) are given in the review article linked below. Note: if you don't find any "Unallocated" disk, look in "My Computer" for a drive that isn't your internal hard drive or other usual device. Probably all you have to do is save your media files to this drive and they will be available to play on your A/V system.

If you've checked the cables, swapped them out, and ensured that the power adapter is providing power to the Vocalizer 3, but you're still not getting any sound output, there are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. **Check Volume Levels**: Ensure that the volume levels on the Vocalizer 3 and any connected devices (such as mixers, amplifiers, or speakers) are turned up and not muted.
2. **Test with Different Inputs/Outputs**: Try connecting the Vocalizer 3 to different inputs on your mixer, amplifier, or speakers, and test with different output devices if possible. This can help determine if the issue is specific to certain connections or devices.
3. **Inspect Settings**: Check the settings on the Vocalizer 3 to ensure that the correct input and output sources are selected. Make sure that any settings related to mono/stereo output are configured correctly.
4. **Test with Different Power Adapter**: If you have access to another power adapter with similar specifications, try using it to power the Vocalizer 3. This can help determine if the issue is related to the power adapter.
5. **Reset the Vocalizer 3**: Some electronic devices can benefit from a reset to their factory settings. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset on the Vocalizer 3, and try resetting it to see if it resolves the issue.
6. **Contact Technical Support**: If you've tried the above steps and are still experiencing issues with the Vocalizer 3, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem or malfunction. Contact the manufacturer's technical support for further assistance and troubleshooting guidance. They may be able to provide additional insights or recommend repairs if necessary.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to diagnose and resolve the issue with the lack of sound output from your Vocalizer 3.

Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first.
But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable. If these suggestions don't work, you may try the manufacturer's customer support.
The F2100 remote is not explicitly listed as compatible with the AerialBox T2100, I recommend using the remote that came with your AerialBox T2100 for optimal functionality. If you have any specific compatibility concerns, I suggest reaching out to Dish TV customer support for further assistance.
