Heavy and smart auto light blinking? Over follow error
Hello Cathryn;
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.
The flashing of those two buttons means; "Over-Level Water Error".
This could mean you just need a good internal cleaning:
1.) You are not completely draining, afterwards your dishwasher goes into the fill and you have too much water in the dishwasher, you are plugged up.
2.) The drain hose from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal may be plugged up. Remove and clean until you can see light through the hose. If not replace.
3.) The connection on the garbage disposal may be plugged up. With a tooth brush, scrub the inside of this connection.
4.) The drain pump may be plugged up. This requires disassembly of the pump.
5.) The cutter in your dishwasher bottom drain may be plugged up.
If I were still working as a full time appliance technician; I would charge your $100.00 just to show up at your door, $180.00 to fix the problem and if parts are involved, it would be the part sale price X 2.
I always hated meeting nice people and charging them so much.
So, what do you do.
1.) If your dishwasher is under 5 years old. The date of manufacture should be on the same label that your model number is on.
a.) Go into the Sears home Services Website and purchase a; "Smart Agreement". Not the Master Protection Agreement which is expensive. The "Smart Agreement", will cover you for up to $500.00 per service call.
b.) Wait about 3 months and schedule a service call. You will be covered.
2.) Your dishwasher is over 5 years old. You can go into the Sears Home Services website and print out a coupon for 10% off the service call.
3.) Or, If you do not want to pay $300.00 or $350.00 for a service call, then go into the internet and search; "Sears Outlet Stores". This is a scratch and dent store where you can save several hundred dollars. You also receive a 1 year warrantee. I have made a rare few service calls on these appliances because you are covered.
Go into the following website. Put in your model number. You will get diagrams, part numbers and cost.

First things to try:
1. Unplug the fridge and move it away from the wall. 2. Inspect the power cord for damage. Replace the power cord if it is damaged. 3. Plug the fridge back into the wall outlet. 4. Set the temperature control to the desired level. 5. Push the "Reset" button, located near the temperature control panel, to reset the temp control settings. The Reset button is usually red in color. 6. Move the fridge back to its original position.

Samsung dishwasher stuck in drain cycle eaven with door open and normal and heavy lights blinking
If your dishwasher is stuck in the drain cycle and the lights are flashing, it may be due to a faulty drain pump. You should check the drain pump and hose for any blockages or clogs. If these parts are clear, then the next step is to check the wiring between the dishwasher and the drain pump. If there is a loose wire or a broken connection, then this could be causing the issue. If the wiring seems fine, then the issue may be with the control board or the drain pump itself. If this is the case, then you will need to replace either of these parts to get your dishwasher back to working order.

The third rack on my Samsung dishwasher no longer pulls out all the way.
It sounds like there may be an obstruction in the glide track that is preventing the third track from moving freely. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
- Check for obstructions: Take a close look at the glide track where the third track is getting stuck. Look for any debris or objects that may be blocking the track. You can use a flashlight to help you see better. If you find any obstructions, carefully remove them.
- Clean the glide track: Even if you don't see any obstructions, the glide track may be dirty or have accumulated debris. Clean the glide track with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner to remove any buildup that may be causing the third track to get stuck.
- Lubricate the glide track: If the glide track is clean and free of obstructions, it may need to be lubricated to help the tracks move more smoothly. Use a silicone-based lubricant, such as WD-40 Silicone Lubricant, to lubricate the glide track. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the track and use a soft cloth to spread it evenly.
- Check the glider tracks: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, the glider tracks may be damaged or misaligned. Check the glider tracks to see if they are bent or damaged in any way. If so, they may need to be replaced. If the glider tracks are misaligned, adjust them so that they are straight and parallel to each other.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be worth consulting with a professional technician or contacting the manufacturer for further assistance

Samsung dishwasher dw80h9930us diagnostic mode e3
Hey Randy, thank you for the query. According to my research the E3 error code means that your dishwasher is unable to fill with water. To fix this problem, turn the water supply off and unplug your dishwasher from the power socket. You can then remove the water hose and check the water inlet valve to ensure it's working correctly.
