A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. no reset... maybe empty/defective/not seated properly

It latches into place and is intended to stay in place, once pulled out. Baring any damage to the load or eject trays, Check the back of the eject tray with a flash light by opening the top of your printer where you insert your cartridges. Have you tried to put; 1. Good cartridges 2. Install the printer's driver on your pc/laptop?

Normally if you say 'Print this email' it prints all the pages automatically. Try going on to the Advanced printer section and where it says print pages from... to... give page numbers

With TWC, which used to be Insight, their phone service worked fine with any Fax machine, including printers. DSL, which is a digital service across the phone line requires a filter on all devices but the digital service into their modem/router. You can go to Radio Shack and get one of those filters and see if that helps.. it should be pretty cheap, like 7 bucks, max.
