How would I reset an IP Address on a printer
It depends on the network setting if you have chosen to dynamically assign the IP addresses to the device (DHCP) The IP automatically gets reset every as an IP is assigned to it dynamically by the DHCP server.
I keep getting an error
On your computer's task bar there should be an icon for the printer. Right click on the icon and it will show you the amount of jobs on que for the printer. You can than right click on each pending jobs and select cancel.

your printer is printing garbage because the file you tried to print corupt or the printer driver is corupt restart printer and pc then try printing a test page from the printer driver if this works then that file you printed and did come out properly is corrupt suggest you delete or if it a word file copy and paste into a fresh word document should sort out the corrupt file if the test page also comes out as garbage the uninstall the printer driver and reinstall it then test again
