After about 30 minutes the computer freezes. I
If all of this just started happening after installing the new monitor, then it's probably the drivers that were installed for your monitor conflicting with your computer. Try deleting the monitor's drivers by right-clicking 'My Computer' and selecting 'Properties'. Then, select the Hardware tab and go into Device Manager. Find the Monitors section in the list of devices and click the plus sign beside it to expand the node. Right-click the monitor there and click 'Uninstall' to remove it. Use another monitor and see if the problem still persists. If not, then you know there's a problem with the new drivers for your monitor. You'll need to contact the manufacturer to get updated drivers for it.

I run windows xp and often the voice goes out and
If the sound comes back after Restart even you don't do anything, then there must be some problem with your computer, not only with the Sound driver. It's possible that the sound driver ceases after it runs for a while and it resumes only after the system is restarted. I would highly recommend you to reinstall the sound driver. You can download the sound driver here (
I would also suggest you to scan your computer with few antivirus programs. You can use Avg Free, Avira Free and Avast Free. Run full system scans with these antiviruses, but don't forget to install only one of them at a time otherwise it might cause another problem. I hope you have at least one security software (antivirus or antispyware etc..) installed on your computer. Uninstall the currently installed antivirus program and try with the other versions.
If you have problem, let me know.
Good luck.

Getting no image on emachines t6212
it's pretty simple. everything has its own plug. and the one for the monitor would most likely be a serial connection, it should have pins at the cord and holes at the computer. the mouse and keyboard have their own connections unless they're USB which wont matter which usb connection ur in. the internet if it's high speed it would look like a large phone cable. and has its own plug. everything else should be alright
Emachine wont start
remove all external and internal peripherls.
example for external: mouse, monitor, keyboard, printer.
Internal: hard drive, memory modules, video cards, modem (if there's any), optical drive or dvd drives.
just leave the motherboard, power supply and processor intact, try turning on the computer with out those components mentioned. see if you get a beep sound before it turns off, but if not the most logical part that needs to be replaced on this type of problem is the power supply if that doesn't work the next thing to do is replace the motherboard. hope that helps
hit me back on the results. thanks!

Please specify how exactly you're trying to make them work, what machine you're trying to make them work with, and what kind of connection your speakers are using.
General info:
Speakers usually get connected via 3,5 mm plug into the green round socket in the back or front of your computer. In Windows, if your speakers are properly connected and set up, right click on the sound pictogram in your taskbar and choose "Playback devices". Set your speakers to be the default playback device by left-clicking on the preferred device of your choise and clicking the button "Set default" below.
Recovery disk for Emachine T5642
In general, you have to order recovery disks from the manufacturer of the machine.
In your case
eMachines Store eRecovery is where you can order it, or you can initiate a discussion with tech support.
Also, many machines give you the option to burn your own recovery media when you first set it up. Most people skip this step. You should do this before you have problems. Search your machine for the word Recovery and see if you have an installer routine there.

T5026 bios download
Flashing the bios is a last-ditch move. What happened before that?
Did it work before you flashed it? If the unit is interrupted during clash, or if it is the wrong bios, your goose could be cooked.

There may be something you can use, especially if you have a floppy drive (a real one, not a usb-one).
You maybe can use flash drive in the usb port, but that's a long shot.
Good luck with that. I'd be looking at a new motherboard. They can be had pretty cheaply.
Problem getting recovery disk
I understand that you want to reinstall the Operating System on the computer.
Select models have the ability to have the operating system reinstalled from a hidden drive built into the computer. To start the system recovery:- Restart the computer
- When the eMachines logo appears on the screen, press the Alt and F10 keys repeatedly.
- When prompted with a boot screen, hit the Enter key.
- After the system recovery program has loaded, follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.
If the ability to reinstall from the previous method is not available or fails during the recovery, recovery of the operating system will need to be from
Recovery Media.
- Insert the disk labeled System CD into the computer's disk drive and restart the computer.
- When the eMachines logo appears on the screen, press the F12 key repeatedly.
- Select either CDROM or DVD as the boot device, this may vary depending on the system.
- When prompted for the Recovery CD, remove the System CD and insert the Recovery CD.
Note: If there are multiple Recovery CDs, please insert the first Recovery CD.- After the system recovery program has loaded follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.
Refer the URL for more information and for the link to order the Recovery media if required.
