What if computer will not take password to your account

If you forgot your BIOS password. see this... http://www.wikihow.com/Break-a-BIOS-Password If you forgot your windows Account Login password, the following page is a good description of your choices... http://pcsupport.about.com/od/tipstricks/tp/find-lost-windows-passwords.htm Also, check out... http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/ If the above does not work, and you have important files that you don't want to lose, you could try this... Pull the hard drive out, and use a "USB Hard Drive Adapter" (available fairly cheap online) to connect the hard drive to a friend's computer, and save all the personal files (documents, pictures, etc.) you can to a folder on the friend's computer or an external hard drive. At least you may not lose you files. Good luck G

The pc starts and loads. Then the blue windows xp

Restart your computer and then press and hold F8 keys until you get Advanced Options menu screen.Use the arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, and then press Enter, your computer will boot automatically to safe mode.If you able to start in the safe mode then you need to update all your drivers and install all windows updates from Windows update and scan your computer for viruses! And I also suggest you to run CMD as administrator and write in CMD without quotes"sfc/scannow" this will fix blue screen error. If problem still exists, then get the reliable program like PC Fresher to fix your annoying blue screen problem.

Pxe-mof exiting pxe rom

If you are not booting from a network, PXE-boot is the wrong boot option. You have to change the boot order so that the PC will boot from your HDD. This can be set in the boot option in your BIOS.Depending on the type of BIOS, you will enter F2 or Delete during the POST( when the white letters appear on the screen after you turned it on). This will enter you into the BIOS setup. boot options are usaully the last tab. Either disable the PXE-boot or change the priority so that it boots from the HDD first. Please, if you are unformiliar with this, reference the manual or ask someone with some IT background. If the problem still exists after you configured the boot options your hard disk drive might not be readable. The BIOS just goes to the next availible boot device.

The eMachines T5048 Desktop PC, uses the NexGen 2 computer case.(Also uses an Intel D102GGC2 motherboard)1) http://www.hypermicro.com/mmhypermicrocom/images/CSEC004.JPGThe front panel is the Front Bezel. It is removed by grasping the right side of it, and pulling out, G-E-N-T-L-YThere Power On switch wires, Power On LED wires, USB front panel wires, Card Reader wires, etc., are still attached.http://downloads.emachines.com/userguides/DesktopPC_UserGuide_en.pdf(Page 47 - Removing the Front Bezel ){ Note*Usually there are plastic tabs formed out of the Front Panel, and they snap into slots in the metal computer case frame.Usually 3 per side. They are flat, and have a hooked end. They are pressed to the outside, or inside of the case, to release the hooked end away from the side of the slot.LOOK at the tab. Look at the hooked end. SEE which direction THAT flat tab should be eased over to, in order to bring the hooked end away from the side of the slotted hole. When the hooked end is in the middle of the slotted hole, the flat tab can then be eased OUT of the slotted hole.DO NOT assume all tabs go in the same direction }[ The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the wires from the Front Panel go to, (Except for the USB and Card Reader), is the Front Panel header. This link shows you the Front Panel header pinout,http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d102ggc2/sb/CS-022441.htmClick on the blue file name -Intel Desktop Board D102GGC2 Product Guide - English (PDF){It's a Motherboard User Manual }For additional questions please post in a Comment.Regards, joecoolvette

I installed realtek driver but i hear no sound

OK--first, is it the correct driver for your computer? Now be sure your speakers are plugged into the green port.If the speakers are powered, are they turned on?Check the speaker icon in your system tray--lower right side of the screen. Click on it to see if the sound is too low or maybe muted. If still no sound, go to the control panel and click on the sound icon. In that window you click on "sounds" and see if you can click on a sound and play it. If the "play" arrow is gray, it means your sound card drivers are not installed. You can also make sure that your speakers are the devices selected to play the sounds.Another thought? The speakers are bad.

How do i reset my emachine t5048 to factory

Some computers will have a recovery partition you can recover from it will prompt you as the computer is booting. Emachines are very low end computers and don't typically have a recovery partition. If you didn't create the recovery disc you will need to order it from Gateway's website as they own emachine. You can order recovery media from https://secure.tx.acer.com/RCDB/Main.aspx?brand=emachines

Added 2 1GB memory to

There are two variants of the T5048 One uses DDR PC3200 ram the other uses DDR2 PC5300
Should be able to look at the old ram and it should say on it what it is. If it doesn't, take out the new, put in the old ram and go here http://www.crucial.com/store/drammemory.aspx Run the "Scan My Computer"
Some computers will have a setting in BIOS to disable on board video although eMachine are very low end and probably don't offer that. Shouldn't need to just install your video card and plug your monitor into it. It should work just fine without disabling on board.

Turn the computer on, install the Recovery Disk in the optical drive. Give the optical drive a few seconds to read the Recovery Disk.

If the recovery disk is not read, and does not start automatically, go to Start, My Computer, and double-click on the optical drive icon.

When the Recovery Disk starts, and comes to the question, "What do you wish to do?", click on Destructive Recovery. Also may be listed as Full Installation.
