This problem is usually occur when music player don't load data of memory card itself

• First of all turn off your cell insert your memory card carefully again
• Turn on your cell, when it 'll be on, open your music player it 'll take some time to refresh
• Now do in the options of music player
• Second option 'll be music library open it
• Go down there 'll be a last option Update Library, it 'll take some time and hope it 'll load all your music and all music files 'll show in track list.

Formatting the phone is the only solution. However you might want to delete unncessary files from the phone memory and see if that helps - like ringtones, pictures, videos. Phone hanging is not always related to viruses :)
