Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. To fix the issue with your Ds getting 0000FE00 just follow the steps below.

1. Start your DSi and wait until the Battery is Empty. (Having an empty Battery lowers the time to boot up. The Ds got two internal flash memorys that are both damaged when you have this error. With the low Battery the resetted one gets loaded while the other can't in the same speed)

2. Remove the Bolts and extract the Battery for around 1.5 hours.Why we did this? All the Electricity needs to be out of the System to make sure it's only getting the Bootup Information from the Chip that got resetted and not from the other, if the other one could send it's information, we would still have the Error.

3. Reinstall your Battery.

4. You need to be fast now: Insert your Flashcard, and start your DSi.Start the Application you used the last time, before the Error appeared and close it legitly. In case off the SuperCard DSTWO SNES Emulator, just press the Exit Button. Other Flashcards like the R4i need to be soft resetted to the flashcard's menu, and need to boot up some game's rom.

5. -Not Necessary but just feels a little more safe- Format your NDSi.

6. Charge your Battery and enjoy playing your NDSi Systems again.

- Usually changing battery will fix this problem for best results follow the steps above.

How do you unlock region code on DSi?

sounds like another new thing nintendo have done to screw us all up, i would suggest a dstt cart or r4 cart or summit but they dont support them eaither! either back to the shops 4 money back then buy in europe or wait until they bring thr dstt or r4 or n5 crt out which supports the dsi and go from there.

Accidental reset can i recover photos

You may take out memory card from dsi and then connect memory card to computer with card reader, and then use a photo recovery software to scan memory card and recover lost photos. see this step by step guide

DSI works fine but no lights are showing

If it's a big problem for you then take it apart, DON'T REMOVE ANYTHING!!! Make sure the lights are attached properly then try. If it still works fine otherwise, then don't worry about it and charge it whenever you're finished.

SSID is the name of the wifi network you want to connect to.For example if you have a netgear router and you haven't personalized the SSID, then the SSID is probably NETGEAR. If you renamed it to Dhimiter Dema then the SSID is now Dhimiter Dema.

My dsi says an error has occurred. press and hold

Usually this can be a couple of things. It could be a corrupt download, try and update the DSI over the WiFi again. If it comes up with an error as soon as you try to do an update it is more than likely a bad Wifi card inside the DSi and will need to be replaced.

I lost my operations manual

Go to parental controls in system settings. When it asks 'Change Parental Controls settings?' tap yes. When it brings up a numeric keypad, tap the center button, "I Forgot". Next, tap "I Forgot" again. Now you will be shown a screen with a number at the bottom (the 'inquiry number'). Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp on your computer and enter this number in the field marked confirmation number. Set the current date in your timezone and click get reset code. And Voila! Your DSi is now parental control free!
