Wurlitzer arm frozen w/ one digit flashing 8 then E w/o top of E

At the far side of the white nylon gears at the base of the gripper arm is a small white 'duck bill' bracket, which clicks a microswitch when the gripper is over the carousel. When it breaks or comes loose it fails to click the microswitch and the arm doesnt stop.

Where to get program codes for a 1990 rowe cd-100a

You should have no problem obtaining a manual for that unit. Google it and several sources will be available.

WHERE IS THE BATTERY LOCATED THAT HOLDS PROGAMMING MEMORY WHEN THE AC POWER IS REMOVED FROM THE UNIT? MY MANUAL SAYS THERE IS A BATTERY BUT I CANT LOCATE IT.

I would open up the cpu case and you will probably find the battery on the cpu board. Most likely a 2032 coin cell, although I am not real familiar with NSM, most others use them.

Is there anyone in the Fort Worth Tx area that can diagnose / repair an amp on a 1015 OMT Wurlitzer

You may want to check your speakers first if it's blowing the fuses. I have found that either open or shorted speaker coils will cause that. Try replacing the fuses and substituting two known good speakers and maybe you will find your amp is ok. You can temporarily substitute with smaller speakers just to test this.

Code to initialize ami rowe jukebox

For full initialization, in service mode, press 3 to enter init. sub menu, type 0 for full initialization. Press popular, then put switch in normal position and initialization will begin. You can still select and play discs while initialization is in progress, providing you select from cd's already finished. The machine will continue initialization after selections are finished playing.

My cd-carnegie has no money changer, it is on free play. It won't allow me to play selections any more.

Possibly the battery is dead in the control unit. When the memory is lost, free play is too. You will need to locate and replace the battery, then re-program. For that you will most likely need the manual. You will have no problem finding a manual on line.

Rockola cd8 {94/95 model} powers up, goes threw the proper codes, however the cd carrier runs all the time. Itcannot find the home position?

The home sensor is either defective or dirty. If you have a manual, find the location of it and try cleaning it. It may just have a piece of lint blocking it. Should be some led's on the control board to indicate when the home position is achieved, if this led is not lighting, the sensor is probably the problem, or possibly an internal component in the control unit.

I have a Wurlitzer CD jukebox. The arm picks up a CD and immediately returns it to the rack then repeats.

The arm is not closing a switch or a switch is stuck closed in the mech area. You will probably need to clean all moving parts with alcohol because chances are, the old oil or grease has become sticky and things are not moving correctly, especially if you notice the arm moving slower than it should. Check all switches and use a little alcohol on them too.

My Jukebox, when I place a cd in to play, it says CD read and does nothing else?

If the battery in the cpu is dead, it may cause this. First, check and replace the battery if necessary, then you will need to initialize or map all the cd's. It depends on what manufacturer of the jukebox is, (Rowe, Rockola, Wurlitzer) as to the procedure, but, a manual will be very helpful.

See if there is a pattern to the number keys that are not operational, such as, 1 through 5 good, and 6 through 9 not good. This would indicate a break in the daisy chain from switch to switch. If it is just random numbers, maybe some need cleaning or adjustments. The buzzing could be a number of things, maybe the latch solenoid or a ballast.

Could be the power supply voltage is low, possibly due to a bad capacitor, it seems that when the counter advances it is pulling the voltage down enough to cause the problem you are experiencing. If you can select a disc in the service mode, the counter should be inactive, and you can see if the disc will play through.
