Haier AHD50 Dehumidifier - Page 3 Questions & Answers
How many watts is a DE45EJ-L dehumidifier?
There is a review website that claims the unit draws 590 watts. The refrigerant this one uses is R-134a.
Haier 45 Pint Dehumidifier Review
A slightly larger unit is also available from Haier, the DE65EJ that uses R-410a, which is a more efficient refrigerant and allows the unit to be perhaps 20% more efficient. That larger unit is rated for 65 pints a day, and uses 710 watts. It is a bit heavier than the DE45EJ also.

How to remove filter on ahd50
if this model doesnt have the removable filter on the middle right side then the filter is not removable by std means and unit will need to be dissasembled for this , Now there are a few reasons for unit to freeze , and yes your right one of them is a dirty air filter . and if its gone too far then a dirty condenser coil as well , also if unit is over three years old then it's possible that due to overheating some of the gas chanrge has gotten out , reducing it's efficency making it run longer with no cool down and freezes up , also if your asking it to remove more water than its designed for (setting to high) it will freeze up as well , std moisture for a home is 70 %rh purchase a small meter to measure this ,(some units have one built in) see how much water you really have ?

Why is it noisy and not pulling water from air?
If you can hear its fan running but it produces no condensate, then it's apparent that either the compressor is not running, or that the humidity setting needs to be lowered. If the compressor simply won't start, then it's time to replace that unit. Compressor or controls repair is far too costly. It's best to put that money into a new dehumidifier. Frigidaire units are highly rated and that's what I would recommend as a replacement.

Not putting out water
Unplug it and see if the air path is clean. Then power it up and check the compressor, if it is not operating you know the source of the problem, if it is then you probably are low on refrigerant. You can put a thermometer on the cold portion of the coil and see if it cools below the dew point (it won't) to confirm.
