We have a Hmilton Beach
I have gone through 2 of those machines. The first one had the same problem, so I took it back and got another which also performed the same way. The resolution for the second one seemed to be to make sure no coffee or water was left in the resevoirs and the machine has to be unplugged after each use. We only use the machine outside/or when we're camping. And now that's it's not ruining my countertop, it seems to be okay. Since I had already returned the first one I decided to just deal with it. Best of luck to you.
When you go to get coffee it will leak, and you

here at fixya we have no direct sources for parts, the manufacturer would be the only place we would suggest, so if they can't help u then, verify your model number and call the company back, ask to talk to a supervisor, it is very likely the person that helped u just didn't know what he or she was doing.
Our coffee maker overflows, coffee grinds get in
Coffee overflowing onto the counter is a common complaint found in response to many automatic drip coffee makers. The following are potential solutions that can be used to rule out "operator error" vs. a defect or malfunction:
1. Do not "pack" or otherwise overfill the cone/basket with grinds.
2. If self-grinding your coffee beans, ensure you are using the correct grind setting for an automatic drip coffee maker. (See instruction manual for coffee maker and/or grinder.)
3. Do not overfill tank with water. Use the marks on the side of the reservoir rather than those defined by another measuring method. This is because a "cup" in a coffee carafe is defined as 6 oz, not 8 oz, and in some cases as little as 5 oz as a cup. (See your owner's manual.)
4. Make certain the filter cone/basket clicks into place and that the carafe is centered and pushed all the way in.
5. Try a permanent filter rather than a paper filter or vice versa.
6. Only use the correct permanent or paper filter (see manual).
7. Verify that the Pause 'n Serve button isn't sticking. If it is activated too long the brew will escape over the top of the cone/basket. This may be more apt to happen if the alignment of the carafe and the basket is incorrect.
8. Clean your machine with vinegar or as instructed by your owner's manual at least three times per year, more if your water supply is hard (prone to leaving water rings). A properly cleaned machine is less likely to suffer a burned out heating element, to take too long to brew a pot of coffee, to produce "off" tasting coffee, or to clog and overrun the filter basket.
9. Ensure that the coffee machine is sitting level on the counter.
Coffee leaks out onto counter after brewed. Is
The bottom of the urn is sealed with a bright yellow rubbery gasket. As the button is pressed inward by the cup, a sliding lever lifts a valve in the urn. That gasket sometimes splits or wears, or sometimes a grain of coffee gets trapped between it and the valve seat. First try turning the empty urn (only the urn) upside down over your sink and pressing on the little lever under the bottom, while running a strong stream of water directly at the opening. You'll have to experiment to find how to press. That may clear the obstruction. If that doesn't work, replace the gasket. Instructions are in your owners manual.
I lost the cleaning instructions and cannot
Depending on how much calcium build up is in the coffee brewer, it may take a teaspoon or half a cup. The vinegar won't hurt the machine...it just takes a long time to rinse out. Hope this helps. m
