where can I get a new flow control box?

Strimmer line is consumed constantly in use either by wear against abrasive surfaces or being snagged against stems and suchlike it can't cut through and so tends to break. With lots of patience a lot of those stems can eventually be cut.

Early strimmer users became fed up with the process of stopping work, upturning the machine and releasing more line and starting over and so in order to maintain sales the bump and automatic feed heads were developed.

You description suggests you are using your low powered grass trimmer for heavier work than it is designed for.

all 2 strokes take a 50:1 mix. Thats 2.6 ounces of 2 stroke oil, to 1 clean unleaded gallon of gasoline.

It could be a weak spark but most likely it is not receiving the fuel it needs for full throttle operation.

Assuming the fuel is fresh and there isn't an excess of oil this can be tested to some degree by opening the throttle fully and then partially applying the cold start if it can be applied separately or partially covering the intake of the carb with a finger if it can't.
If this improves things it proves the mixture is too lean and it could be a blockage or a matter of adjustment.

One thought occurs - if it was ok before being idle over winter, it is possible the crankshaft oil seals have lost flexibility and air is being drawn past them into the crankcase.

Trigger available on this one stripped down for parts

Trigger & Power Cord : The trigger worked well and there should be ample wire left to tie it into your motor. The cord itself has a lot of damage and tape repairs, but I let it be so that the collar and other parts can be used.

Or the other thing you could do is bypass the switch, fill the hole with epoxy putty and put a sliding light switch in the cord near the sander tail.

Perhaps the fluid has become contaminated and is foaming and/or one or more filters is being partially blocked after running a while. Perhaps also the fluid is boiling due to a lowered boiling point caused by contamination.

The fact it is ok while cold is likely to indicate the trouble is related to one or all of the above and so cleaning or replacing the filters and replacing the fluid seems the most appropriate initial action and if the trouble persists the next step will be to check the pump is maintaining the rated pressure when hot...
