For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.I recommend both sites because ...FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs. If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell. In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
On a series 90 kenmore dryer where is the belt
ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO ANY WORK ON IT.
If you have to check/replace/repair your drum motor, drum seals, belt, rollers, etc.
If replacing drum seals be sure to use a good grade of weather proof cement to hold the seal/s in place.
Note: This method works for most front loading machines.

Basic Information...
Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer. Be real careful not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch or other electrical connections.
Remove the lint filter and the screws that hold the filter housing.
Then remove the top of the dryer.
Note: Some of the tops tilt backwards and do not have to be removed completly.
Remove the front of the machine, this will expose the belt and drum, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm bracket with pulley, and motor with pulley. Pay attention to the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt and drum.
Sometimes the belt will slip off of the idler arm or motor causing the drum not to turn.
While you have the drum out, I would recommend that you lubricate the drum rollers at the shaft of the roller with a good grade of machine oil like 3 in One oil. This will save you a problem later with the rollers getting noisy, also check your drum rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them this will cause a noise like a thumping type noise. You will need to replace the drum rollers if they have flat spots on them.

Kenmore dryer (64952) runs but no heat.
Good day,
Looking might be deceptive. You'll need a VOM meter to be sure.
The resistance should be below 30 ohms on the heater.
The most common problem is the thermal fuse, which is located at the bottom center of the back. It looks like this.
It should read zero ohms. If not replace.
As well there are about 3 thermal devices located in that back area, either round or square shaped. Test all of them. They should read zero ohms as well.
100-64962300 runs but no heat, what is the
you want to check the element for continutity
the resistance would be far to variable across the models to be sure i was quoting correctly
if you are reading continuity its probably good
The light will not turn off and dryer wont run
CK,
There's a switch behind the dryer door. Push it in and out with your finger, you should here it "click, click, click" and the light should go on and off. If it doesn't, you'll need to replace the door switch.
If that's the case, I'll need the full model number. It's on a sticker on the front panel behind the door. (it should be like three digits, decimal point and about 7 more numbers... 110.*******) With that number, I'll be able to look up parts for you and guide you through this easy repair.
