It is a gas appliance and as such should only be worked on by a qualified, registered gas technician. Call in a professional please. The gas to air mix is wrong. There are four lights very dimly lit on the display. They are the Casual button, the Timed Dry button and two of the segments in the oval time window. I have found the information online about how to test with a multimeter to try and figure out which board is bad. Unfortunately all these instructions require you to have the dryer in the diagnostic mode by pressing the More Time/Less Time/More Time/Less Time in less than 5 seconds. When we do this it does nothing and will not enter the diagnostic mode. When I am testing with the multimeter on the P3/P4 connections I am not getting any readings of voltage at all. Is this because of not being able to get into the diagnostic mode? Should I still be getting readings? I know we have power to the dryer because the light still turns on when you open the door. The cost of buying both the main control board and the front console are prohibitive for us and I would like to only buy the one that is bad. I have also tried the testing with the multimeter on the front console buttons and also get no readings of ohms at all. We have a very busy household with lots of kids and this dryer is very essential to us so the quicker we can get this fixed the better. Thank you in advance for your help.
