There are 3 moving parts with motors on a laptop.
1. The HDD
2. The CPU fan
3. The CD/DVD/Blue ray drive

If it's the HDD than you will be having problem with the operating system. Back up your data and change with a new HDD. 50$ to 80$ depending on your choice of HDD.
If it's the CPU fan it might be touching a cable or the casing. For this you need to dismantle the laptop and clear this out or change the fan. 10$.
If it's the CD/DVD/Blue ray drive than the laser eye is starting to loose it's ability. You will need to change the drive. 30$ to 50$.

It may sound stupid, but some people do not know that deleted messages are stored in the recycle bin . Click on Start ' Help and support and you should find version specific info for your version of windows ( just enter recycle bin in the search box). If you have already emptied the recycle bin , google active software and try their unerase application.

The motherboard has been changed. The code is motherboard specific , and , for this laptop, it may mean you need different drivers , since more than 1 chipset was used in production. Go to Dell.com , click on support, and enter the actual service tag number, not the one on the outside to verify drivers.

- Look for Boot Order or boot sequence. You will see a list of boot devices. Whatever you want as 1st device needs to be selected in 1st or move them to TOP. It depends on your BIOS version. HI michael so if you want to clean your keyboard so first you must take off the keyboard from you laptop .
Let's remove the keyboard. Insert a flat head screwdriver between the keyboard bezel and laptop case and carefully lift up the bezel. Remove the bezel.You'll find two screws securing the keyboard. Remove both screws.Now carefully lift up the keyboard. You'll see the default memory module under the keyboard, right above the touch pad buttons. It's possible to replace the memory module without disconnecting the keyboard.Disconnect the keyboard . Simply grab the blue tag attached to the keyboard connector and pull it up. Now you can remove the keyboard.So now with removed keyboard you can clean it .

The first one can be unlocked using a program called Active@password. The second one can be unlocked for $30. Hope this helps.
