by controller box there is a plug 5-8 wires. unhook them. Open the box and buy a gator-skin or Kevlar tyre and liner with puncture proof tube and relax for next 3 years. Forget it, not practical, even if you ignore the "minor" fact that the belt is one piece, so you would need to cut and reattach the right rear part of the frame.
