Occasional leak at the bottom of the freezer side kenmore 25354703400 side by side

sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all taht ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youl melt everything) or by pouring hot water donw the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine

No water to ice maker

  • The water line that's attached to the back of the refrigerator. Make sure you have good water flow. If the flow is poor, repair, clean, or replace the tubing or the shut-off valve that supplies the water.

  • The water-inlet valve. Replace it if it has failed.

Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Ice Maker Not Working

A couple things to check here. First see if there is ice in the tray. If so chances are the ice maker will need to be replaced however these are very reliable ice makers. If no ice in the tray pull up on the ejector blade (don't worry you won't break it) turn clockwise to start the ice maker thru a cycle. The ejector blade is the long white bar with fingers on it that run the length of the tray. Once it completes a cycle it should fill with water. If no water then either the fill tube is frozen over and will need to be defrosted or the water valve is bad.

    Ice Maker Not Working

Vik, If this is a indoor Ice maker with the infrared boards, make sure that the boards are working correctly. With the door open, on the right side you should have 2 flashes with a pause, this should happen repeatedly. Now holding the left side immiter flap down, the light should stay on steady. This of course holds true when the ejector blades are in the home position, 2:00. If this checks out jump start the ice maker by removing the thing and setting it on the shelf, harness still attached. Unplug the refer. Insert a jumper to T & H and leave it in. Close the freezer door. Plug the refer back in and wait 50 seconds. Open the door and see if the module is cycling. If not, press the door switch in 3 times while holding the left side immiter blade in. You may have to try this several times to get it going. Once going, pull the jumper out and place the module cover back on and slide it back into it's rail. It has to work sooner or later. I have had bad modules sent to me and stood there baffled when I could not jump start them. Tried another module and it started right away. Let me know if it did it's thing, Catriver

Compressor may have quit. Have you cleaned the condenser where the heat from the system is transfered to the air? If not clean it out under the front back of the toe plate. this should be cleaned as often as every six months.

Frigerator is working but, refrigerator is not working at some points

Your freezer coil may be frozen over causing air circulation to stop. Check for frost build-up in freezer compartment. this is an indication of a fault in the defrost system timer or heaters.

Kenmore coldspot ice maker not working

check to make sure the water hasn't frozen in the tube that it should fill the tray with. Please let me know if this isn't the problem and I can further assist you. If frozen, you should thaw out the freezer to get it working again.
