Ice Dispenser clogged with frozen ice
I have the same problem. Found this posting:

Maybe our heater is not working?
Water will not come through my dispenser on my
Without the model number I will only be able to tell you what makes most models work. When you push the lever for water, there is a micro-switch behind it that's activated. This sends a signal to the water valve at the lower back of your unit. It opens and allows water to flow. There is one connection between the micro-switch and the valve. It's located at the door hinge. It could be either the top one or the bottom. Make sue it's plugged in real good. While pushing the water lever, wiggle the plug. If it makes water come out, disconnect the plug and re-connect. If no difference, I would say the most likely problem is the water valve at the back of the fridge. You can apply 110 volts to the side that had the larger tube (On most, this is the valve for the water in door) When you connect 110 to it, if water comes out on the door, you have a bad micro-switch. If no water, you have a bad water valve. You will need to replace at least the solenoid on top. I suggest you replace the whole valve. Good luck
Handle on refrigerator side is loose
you need to grab on to handle and pull upward and it should unclip off. there is torque screws under the handle that comes loose from time to time
Ice dispenser is clogged with cubes frozen
Your ice dispenser door may not be closing tightly, allowing air to leak in causing it to frost up and block the ice.
There is a solenoid that operates the door that
could have stopped working. Can you hear it?
The hinge on the door could be broken or the
bracket it goes in could be broken. You'll have to look to see what's
wrong.
Remove the dispenser cover by gently prying starting at the
bottom going round and round a little at a time to prevent from breaking it.
When it's off the screws will be exposed to access the other components.
Crushed ice option don't work properly . samsung RS2530B
if it new call sears for service...with crushed ice the augar moter turn the other direction... it must not be turn the other way could be a switch in the control...
let me know for it help if NOT please let me know and I will be glad to do more in depth.
Used to make several batches of ice a day, now 1-2 a week.
If your refrig has the icebucket on the door and the icemaker on the roof of the fridge then you have two eyes on each side of the freezer....they are bad. If not then the icemaker module is bad. If you have a regular icemaker that hangs from the left side of the freezer then the module is bad. Also......Is your freezer still working good? Icemakers will not work if the temp is not low enough. Are you sure the icemaker is cycling but not making the full number of cubes? Low water pressure will force the icemaker to make only a few cubes at a time
Fridge side is not cooling or very low
. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the
fridge temp ..If it's not it could be the linkage or the control. You probably can do the repair. post your model number to find diagrams of parts to check.
Tube dispensing water into ice maker seems out of place
defroose the ice to the plastic white tube and the hole then pull out the tube, then the first end of the tube cut the end like an angle like to make it sharp but only one side then put it back, make sure the tube shoot to hole inside or more better if u remove all the 5 screws and check if in the right way then put all the screws back, ok what out with the small tube if connected properly or loose ok
Ice maker dont make an ice.
If you're getting water in the tray the pump isn't your problem.
Where if you're not getting water fed into the tray before citing the pump. First check for a clogged or pinched line as well as where you tapped into your water line feed.
See unless your unit's freezer isn't refrigerating properly at a refrigerated temperature. There's no other reason why your unit wouldn't be producing ice from the feature.
That's regardless to anything else
My water dispenser does not work. I unscrewed the
If pressure there it could mean anything may be possible. I need the Sears Model Number. If the water valve on rear of refrigerator does not open then water will not exit the dispenser. Sometimes water is frozen in the dispenser water container located inside the fresh food. Sears Numbers Look Like this (231.564897) for example
compartment. And sometimes it is the dispenser controls. I will need your Kenmore Model Number to tell you the part you need and to help you better. Thank You, Sea Breeze

Kenmore side by side shorts out when plugged in
Try a different circuit to plug the fridge. Possible you GFI is weak and can not take the start surge of the compressor. Refrigerators need to be on 20 amp circuits and not on same circuits with lights ,televisions, etc.
Also if the refrigerator has be laid down on its side during moving give it 24 hour for the oil to return to the compressor. This also is a symptom of overload on the compressor.
Let me know what you find..Sea Breeze
Kenmore Coldspot Ice maker is not working on our side by side refrigerator
Just above the tray that holds the ice cubes is a wire bar. If the bar is down, it will make ice. If the bar is up, it will stop making ice. When there is enough Ice in the tray, when the bar comes downm, it will hit the ice. If the bar is not completely down, no ice will be made.
I bet the bar is stuck, or you don't have a water supply to make ice (or it's plugged - de-ice the freezer).

I have a coldspot kenmore
Tim,
At first blush it sounds like the water valve that supplies water to the ice maker is sticking or leaking and letting too much water in.
If you can, watch how much water fills into the ice maker tray (very boring stuff). If it overfills the icemaker tray, then the water valve or timer is malfunctioning and needs repair or replacement.
