Ice cubes stick to tray and motor can not push them out!

what it is the heater that goes on the ice maker tray is not working properly. Possibly the contact are not making a good cotact or not coming on correctly.

My ice freezes together!

Do you mean the ice cubes are too large to be individual cubes and come out as a lump? The water is filled by a timed fill so if the fill solenoid stays open a little and drips water into the cube tray it will have more water than normal. I guess I'm not sure if you mean the ice cubes are stuck together in the tray or are they sticking together in the holding bin area?

I have an approximately 10 year old kenmore pro 253.44123800 (it’s a standalone refrigerator) Hasn’t been as cold as I’ve liked the last few months, check the coils etc. making sure they were clean. Night before last I heard what sounded like a noisy fan but it stopped. Then last night I realized it was not cold at all. Pulled everything out, and the fins in the back were completely encased in ice. Defrosted everything. Plugged it back in. The fan above the coils is running, the fan around back by the condenser is running. (Condenser seems hot, but I have nothing to compare it to). Will not get below 58 degrees. Where to start?

After 10 years of service, your Kenmore could be low on refrigerant but there could be age related failure of a component such as the temperature control.

I have a Kenmore Elite grab and go refrigerator and the bottom of the fridge keeps building up ice and then leaks on the floor.

When that happens the cause is often a blocked defrost drain.

After each cooling cycle a panel heater is switched on for a short time to melt the ice that has formed over the evaporator and the resulting water droplets are channeled into a drain that dispenses them into an evaporation tray attached to the motor/compressor unit.

A flexible curtain wire is what I use to clear the drain.

Elite bottom mount fridge, 596.7626701. Freezer works fine, checked compressor and fan. Fridge not working at all. How can I diagnose the problem?

Have you checked the air passage ways from the freezer to the main box. They may be blocked with ice or they could be blocked with items covering them up. Are your cold controls set so that freezer air is directed into the box? It is possible that they maybe set to keep all the cold air in the freezer if that is set to coldest for the freezer, When the controls are adjusted it can take up to 24 hours to really see a difference. There is also a vane type of control operated by a small motor to direct the air from the freezer to the box on some models that may have failed.

Why is Refrigerator kenmore model 795.7102 freezer not freezing.

It could be because the door is open.
mostly the fan motor does not run then so try closing he door well. There are numerous reasons, It could also be caused by frozen evaporator coils, leaky refrigerator hoses, a heavy crowded freezer, a broken or malfunctioning thermostat or a clogged defrost drain.

Sounds like the freezer drain is stopped up. Clear the ice with a hair dryer, find the drain hole, clear it compressed air.

Have a Kenmore 253.7041341B French Door Bottom Freezer. Can it be reprogramed to start it's self after a power outage? Getting tired of calling neighbors to resart the fridge.

My Kenmore 25318502210 freezer chest is leaking water all over the floor. However, it is still running and freezing the food Inside of it. Can some help me figure out what the problem may be?

As it still seems to be operating normally, the water is probably from the defrost drain - either the evaporation tray has become displaced from the position atop of the motor unit, the drain hose is no longer dripping water into the tray or the drain hose has become detached from the drain and the water is running between the cabinet skins saturating the insulation, which is bad...

My 5.8 Kenmore freezer quit cooling.It was hot on the outside. I emptied it and got it to start by adjusting the temp button. However it quit again and now I get nothing. My use guide gives no info

Cud b bad compressor..condensor or evap. It will cost more to fix then anew or used one
