Some models have a switch activated by the lower door or fridge door. If the door id open, the fan in the freezer will stop. That switch protrudes or bounce out when the door is open. Check is the switch is faulty. Check temperature setting for the fridge too. There is a fan that takes the cool air and blow it thru the vents to cool the fridge side. If the fan is in the freezer, check the direction of its rotation. It should be sucking sir from the freezer and blowing out to the fridge vents.

Since this refrigerator was built in 2005 (based on the copyright date of the user manual), the third digit after the dot in the model number indicates the capacity. This is a 25 cu. ft. model. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

You should hear it running but the compressor is most likely fine. There are start and run capacitors on that unit and they fail. This leads to no compressor working. Look for information using that compressor model number or the whole units model number on an appliance parts site.

Sounds to me that you may have a loose bracket or something else loose under the drawer. Typically the fan won't run until you close the drawer which takes me there. Unless you are a qualified technician please don't attempt to repair it yourself!!

You are evidently holding the drawer. Look inside of the hole and at the back should be the slides and a latch at the back....You may just have to lift the drawer to lock into the slides. You may have to take the lid off of it first.

Well; without a repair guide for procedures and how to test the different components; your guess is as good as mine. Look for the simplest solution 1st. Dust build up, condensate lines plugged etc. Always unplug the unit before diagnosing. The fan has an automatic relay and can start at any time.

It does matter if you do break the bulb. Turn the power off and push a dinner knife into and turn the bulb base out using the knife like a screwdriver. or you can grab the edge with needle nose pliers and grab the edge, and roll the base up. The metal will pull away from the edge of the socket. I have done both many times.
