Have you descaled your machine? If so, it could be that your steam valve may need to be replaced.

Pump sounds loud and slurpy but doesn't pump

Try descaling the machine. Saeco has a suitable solution, although the user manual says 'you may use any commercially available non-toxic descaling agent.' The instructions are set out in the user manual, and are usually on the descaling agent label. It is important to descale regularly, at least every 4-6 months.

Steam coming out from bottom?

It sounds like your steam thermostat is bad and needs to be replaced. Be careful, in this situation the machine will not stop heating and you could get hurt. I would recommend getting the machine repaired or if you would like to try it yourself you can contact us on our website and we would be glad to provide you with the correct part.

Overheat cutout switch

The coffe maker has a heat fuse attached to the side of the pump so when over heats that melts and does not damage the coffee maker
They charge $100 to replace which is a bit tough, you could bypass easily but could damage the machine if not careful
as we have two and one has just stopped pumping, not picking up water so maybe worn valves and I just have it all to bits and noted the heat fuse on the side of the pump

When starting to grind, my excelsis saeco push open the service door

Make sure the containers are tightly in place and check the door sensors ( the magnetic sensors may need replacing). Also, consider trying to completely power off the machine, wait a few minutes, and start it back up.

Saeco Odea Plus Flashing rapidly: "Ventilate the water system" almost at every turning on?

For some reason, people don't think too often about how dirty the ventilation system is, even though it is essentially the air they breathe indoors. I think it is very important to at least sometimes do Ventilation smoke test, and also contact experienced specialists who can quickly and efficiently clean the ventilation. Such services are also provided by Grease Gone.
