Saeco Stratos Coffee Maker, Espresso Machine - Page 5 Questions & Answers
Why is coffee dispensed through only one spout on my saeco hd8763 coffee machine, and why is dreg drawer filled with water and not only coffee residu
First, I'm NOT a Saeco technician, But I have worked on similar machines.
*** You should contact your service vendor. Especially if it's still under warranty. The following is for information only.***
* The spout dispencing only on one side can be caused by an uneven table/counter. A clogged spout. and a crooked spout (got banged out of alighnment)
* Water in the dregs. Check if the pucks are watery or there is just water at the bottom of the tray?
* Watery pucks are from low coffee dose or low compression.
* Water in the tray is the overflow from one of the water systems.
* There are really no customer serviceable parts in this machine. Though there are a lot of adventurous people out there that like to tinker with this machine.
* again, call for service.

How to reset to manufacture setting a royal professional Saeco machine
If the pump does not come on when you request water through the steam wand, then the pump is either ready to go out, or you have a blockage in one of the solenoids in the water circuit. Most likely, the milk frothing attachment that uses a solenoid to activate it, is blocked by calcium build up. The only way to solve this issue, is to open the machine up, and start at the water inlet and work your way back to the front of the machine. Top left side has a solenoid that is most likely blocked. May need to locate an authorized service center.
I have Phillips Saeco xsmall machine. Coffee was ok at first. Then it started making VERY weak coffee.
1-just descaled the machine(see manual, use citric acid, NEVER vinegar)
2-The reason could be the piston is not moving all the way down. Try pushing it down with your thumb and you will see if this is the problem or not. To repair you have to lubricate piston's shaft really well (with food-grade silicone grease or vaseline) so it moves up and down easily. You can try using an artist's brush to reach the shaft, but if it doesn't work you will have to disassemble the mechanism. If the piston won't go all the way down, not enough coffee will fit in the cylinder and the pill will be soft. Also lots of coffee will end up freely floating inside your machine.
Do you know an authorized Saeco coffee machine repairer in the Lilydale Victoria area?
Hello, Rob -
Saeco is a brand name of Philips.
This is the link to the Philips Australia web site:
https://www.philips.com.au/?locale_code=en_us&remember_locale=en_au
On that web site you can choose the link for Support (near the top of the web page.)
Move your computer cursor down the drop down menu and left click on Service Centre Location.
In the drop down menu for service centres, left click on Household Products. Scroll down the drop down menu which appears to find repair centres in the Melbourne area. When you left click on a service centre business name, you will see a map showing where the repair centre is located.
Note: I am answering your question from the USA.
