My kenmore microwaves light will not turn off when the door is closed and the start button isn't working.
I DON'T KNOW. BE VERY CAREFUL AROUND MICROWAVES DUE TO HIGH VOLTAGES AND RADIATION ALWAYS UNPLUG IT BEFORE SERVICING THEM. YOUR SYMPTOMS SUGGEST THE DOOR SWITCH NEEDS TO BE REINSTALLED OR REPLACED. IT SEEMS IT IS IN THE 'OPEN DOOR' POSITION. . I RECENTLY REPAIRED ONE. I UNPLUGGED IT AND REMOVED THE OUTER SHELL. I COULD SEE THE VARIOUS OFF/ON SWITCHES AND THEY JUST SNAPPED INTO PLACE INTO PLASTIC HOLDERS. I USED IDENTICAL SWITCHES FROM OLDE THROW AWAY MICROWAVE.OF A DIFFERENT BRAND, TO MY SURPRISE, THEY BOTH USED SAME SWITCHES.

Electricity is stored in the microwave, and before removing the panel to remove the fuse, you must wait several hours with the power off, and the power plug disconnected. These sensors are made for particular temperature after achieving that temperature they cut off the supply for the product safety.

Kenmore microwave model number 204.75983610 timer too fast

I'm trying Locate the fuse to Kenmore microwave oven Model # 721.808235000

There are a couple of other parts which could render the oven "dead," but the fuse is located on a noise filter circuit board located behind the controller.

You need to remove the grill at least, then you may be able to see the fuse, but if not, you will also need to remove the controller assembly.

At my web site I have a video showing you how to remove a typical over-the-counter grill and controller assembly in about 5 minutes.

Kenmore 790.80353310 installed Feb/2017 microwave exhaust fan and oven light stay on with door closed. removed cover. all switches and stats ok. do control boards quit this early?
It may be just a stuck relay on the control board, which I can repair for you.

Stop/clear button not working on kenmore microwave
Unless there is grease or moisture on the control board, especially in the area where the keypad plugs in, then you would have a failing membrane keypad.

But neither part you would need to repair this is available any longer.

Hi there, I have a Kenmore Elite microwave that recently started tripping the breaker every time the door is opened when running. If I stop the microwave, THEN open the door it does not do it. Idea
they use a lot of power and should have it's own outlet, try plugging it in to the same plug as refrigerator, it's a double circuit and will have the power to supply both units, there should also be another plug in kitchen that is double circuit, keep trying different plug to you find it.. double circuit means top has 1 breaker and bottom is on another breaker
