The decalcify message has come on the digital display. The manual does not mention decalicify at all. Do I just need to run it through a rinse cycle or a descaling cycle? The model is actually called a Saeco Royal Exclusive Espresso Coffee Machine, SUP015, purchased in 2005.
I had the same problem with a Saeco Royal Digital. I ran the decalcifying liquid through the machine with the automatic descaling program as per the instructions on the bottle and the DECALCIFY message stayed up.
I solved it by going to the menu and selecting "Signal Descal." and toggling it from No to Yes. I escaped back to the menu and git the usual "Select Product".
Hope this helps.

I've only had to empty the grounds drawer four times since I've gotten this machine - each time I have more trouble getting the message to clear so it will operate again. In addition to emptying the drawer & cleaning under it, I have to remove the brew group, clean inside, & then jiggle things for five minutes or so until the message eventually clears. I don't know where the sensor is so that I can look at it. I'm about to return it. Has anyone else had this problem?
When you need to empty the grounds draw remove the drip tray and pull out the dregs draw - don't open the side panel or turn off the machine, - It works for me!!

My Saeco Royale cappucino machine says dregdrawer missing after I emptied it.
Its there, but not sensing it! Help!
Make sure the machine is clean of coffee grinds. Mine has a nasty habit of dropping them behind the dregdrawer instead of in it. Remove the central unit and give it a good clean. The dregdrawer should then slide back fully into the microswitch.
If this doesn't work, you've probably got a dud microswitch.

The machine was out of service and in storage for a couple of years. When hot water is selected, the pump runs, a small quantity of water comes out along with steam. Stops after the cycle, but still shows ventilate, and nothing works.
There is an air lock in the hydraulic line of the machine, thats why it is calling for ventilate, if hot water valve is open and it is still calling for ventilate, then it is possible that the valve is blocked, it might be at top of the wand or at the tap rod assembly.

how to ventilate a saeco coffee machine
Hi
There is a water button you need to push. It has a water drop on it. This will clear the ventilate message.

its always telling me to fill coffee beans
Hi
Sounds like you have a blockage in you grind passage. Try removing the brew group. Then inside on the roof of the machine above where the brew unit sat, there is a drop chute where the coffee is dropped into the brew unit. From the left side of the drop chute pull down and back towards the center of the machine, and it will drop coffee. This will clear an opening that relieves pressure on the passage. There is a passage inside the drop chute area that goes to the grinder. Vacuum it out. It will be on the right side of the drop chute.
Once that is cleared go to the bean hopper. There is a lever under the bean hopper. Push the lever back to the largest number. You can push the lever to a larger number any time, but it has to be grinding to pull to a smaller number. Now replace everything and make your coffee. Once you have made your coffee you can pull back to a number that was higher than the one you had it on, but only when the grinder is running.

brew unit miss
Hi
Open the door on the right. The brew unit is the thing with the handle that has the "press" on it. You need to push on the upper left side of the brew unit until it clicks. There is an outlet spout on the opposite side of where you are pushing. It goes into an intake port that needs to be lubed (food grade only), so the outlet spout will slide in without pushing back. That should take care of the missing brew unit.

The Brew Unit Blocked error on our machine, how do we resolve this
open the door and see small screw in the middle of the brew unit. Take it off with small screwdrive and pull out the brew unit. Then put the small thing (something like a pipe) to the brew unit with the small screw. Then without brew unit in the machine press the switch inside the machine where stayin the brew unit and the switch witch is stayin the top of door .Switch on the machine and wait while self test is making, then put the brew unit in the machine and that it.Enjoy!
