Hi
If the water inlet
valve is fine and it fills with water then the issue seems to be with the float
switch assembly that is bad and should be replaced. Float assembly is found
inside the dishwasher's tub, on the bottom. The water that fills the dishwasher
lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for
the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby
shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may
interfere with dishwasher's filling and/or draining ability. Use voltmeter to
test the switch. Set the device to the ohms setting x 1. Take each probe and
touch them to one switch terminal each. This should produce a reading of either
zero or infinity. Continue to touch the probes to the terminals, and press down
on the switch's button. The reading should change to the opposite extreme. If
the switch fails either of these tests, you should replace it. Hope this helps...please post back for
further assistance.

Is there a filter that needs to be replaced or
If your dishwasher is connected to a disposal and it is clogged the dishwasher will not
pump out. Also if it has an "Air Gap", this may have debris in it. It looks like a small chrome
cap next to the kitchen faucet. You can dismantle it to clean it or just replace it. Just be
sure to hook the inlet and outlet hoses up correctly. Hope this solves the problem.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
Dishwasher not draining completely problem usually occurs due to clogged/blocked drain hose or the drain pump not working. First try to clean the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs, then check drain pump operation. If the problem returns after cleaning then it is the drain pump that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Hi,
Take out the lower rack and remove the lower washer arm. There is a plastic bearing that looks like the picture below :-

This part can wear through and no longer have a lip around the top of it. If this is the case, it will cause the water to push out in waves and water will come out the bottom of the door. Otherwise, just replace the door seal.
Note - if it leaked when it was draining then that has nothing to do with the tub or the pumps or anything like that. You have to have a bad drain hose if it's leaking only during drain. It's probably best to uninstall the unit and watch it to see if you can find exactly where it's leaking from to confirm but if it leaks when it drains there has to be something wrong with your drain line itself. You could try the spray arm gasket first and see if that works. If not, you could look into the drain hose/line, hopefully it's not that.
Good Luck!!
Thanks!!
