If the fridge was off and then worked (it defrosted) so it could be the defrost element, is not working. When that freezes up, it won't circulate the air to cool it.

Is the freezer cold enough? Should be close to 10 degrees.
Is there water or ice in the ice mold? If not put water in it and see if it dumps the ice after it's frozen. If there is ice, lift the cut off arm and let it drop to see if it will start.
If it does dump the ice but don't refill with water.
ICE MAKER NOT GETTING WATER
Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. It's on the back where the water supply comes in. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

in looking up this model . i belive the ice maker head is at fault . it's very common for the main drive gear to brake its center drive and it some times will deliver but will quit . the complete ice mker is less costley than just the head . . but do ck the freezer tempt as it must be 15 deg or lower . mm

Dont leave freezer door open it will cause alot of problems. The ice maker will not call for water until the temp in freezer is cold enough. Remove the ice jam. If you remove from back of freezer it helps alot. Pull out of the back wall and remove ice be sure to put it back the way it was. Any further assistance please feel free to contact me.

check the door seals for fit an air leak will cause the same symptoms.you may have to adjust the door or seals to fit.

Hi, you have to check few things, first of all check power at the outlet for 120 volts. If the light in the fridge works, the defrost timer, cold control and possibly the wiring are the most common things that can make a fridge sit there and be dead, not working.
The defrost timer might be stuck in defrost, turn the timer screw to advance the timer and if the fridge comes back on, replace the defrost timer. You can join the wires together to by-pass the cold control for a test, if the fridge comes on, replace the cold control...

yep temp switch needs to be working cause that also turns your fan off and on

Need to make sure both fans are working and the compressors is running all the time the fans are. If not we need to check the compressor for overheating and look behind back panel in freezer for frost build up. Let me know if you want my help, Sea Breeze

Hi, If you have a portable air compressor, they work great. Your local hardware store should have a long brush designed for cleaning these areas out.I have also used a yard stick with a rag taped to it.
Just some ideas.
