it is the backlit display, i just replaced one lastweek that done the same thing,, you will need to replace it to get the lights to work,, repair clinic.com should have one for your model

I believe itis in the book under sabbath Mode. On the older ones oyu had to hold off for 5 seconds

There are many things to check for before replacing the oven control board. First thin that needs to be checked is the oven relay (part#30 in this image). If the relay is fine then check the thermostat (part#9 in this image). If everything else tests fine then recommended repair will be replacing the control board. it will be the same way as the four prong except there is no green wire to ground so long as the middle wire goes to the center post of the terminal block and the two outer wires go to the left and right sides of the terminal block everything should be fine.

I've never heard of that, actually laughing at the fact that he said that. Based on the high temperatures generated from self clean, a lot of components will fail. I always recommend that customers do not use self clean for that reason. I've seen a lot of control boards go bad as a result of self clean. I always recommend just cleaning the oven manually while its still warm. But yeah, i will agree with your electrician.

Error code F5 is a door latch failure and is displayed due to malfunction of door latch-switch assembly. First try to check the door latch switch, if fine then recommended repair is replacement of door latch-switch mechanism. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

check to see if you accidently set it to Celsius that is about 550 Fahrenheit and makes sense
