Kitchenaid Range KGRA806PSS Control Panel Not Functioning
You're right about not using the self clean option. Your oven gets up to over 800 degrees when you use that feature. You can choose to simply keep your oven wiped out, rather than self clean it. The timer is most likely going out if the "stop" button doesn't work after cleaning. Please call or email us and we will be sure toget the right part for you. I hope this solves your problem. Ella
Ignitors wont shutoff
The common way to control the ignitors is a cam on the individual shafts acting on a 'normally open' switch that is depressed in the ignition position.
One of these switches has failed and no longer able to return to its normally open condition.
You may be able to locate the defective one by 'exercising' each control back and forth past the ignition position to see if one of them will cause the ignitor to stop.
You may have had a spill that has allowed food liquids to gum up the switch.
Oven will not lite
Replace the oven ignitor. IT probably still gets red but it has to draw enough current to open the gas valve and yours isnt. Replace the ignitor and it should fix you up.
Oven will not lite or work
most likely the ignitor has gone out. it is a simple fix that you can perform yourself if you wish. the ignitor runs about $70. Joe

KitchenAid Stove KERS205TSS 2 light issues.
The issue with the oven display light and the oven light on the KitchenAid Stove KERS205TSS 2 may be related. The problem with the oven display light could be due to a faulty control board or a malfunctioning light switch. The control board may need to be replaced if it is not sending a continuous signal to keep the light on. On the other hand, if the light switch is defective, it may not be able to maintain a connection to keep the light on.
The issue with the oven light staying on could also be due to a faulty light switch. If the switch is stuck in the "on" position, it will not turn off even when the door is closed. This can cause the bulb to burn out prematurely and waste energy. To fix this issue, you may need to replace the light switch.
It is possible that both issues are related and caused by a malfunctioning control board. If this is the case, replacing the control board should fix both problems.
To fix these issues, it is recommended to contact a certified technician or an authorized service center for KitchenAid appliances. They will have the expertise and tools necessary to diagnose and repair the stove safely and effectively.
