I've a KitchenAid Artisan 4L Food Processor. Closing the lid of the bowl does not activate the motor. I can surpress the black mechanism with a knife and then the motor runs. Please help?

The problem will be either the lid or the bowl, both have mechanisms in them that wear/break. Take the processor into a service agent that carries the parts along with your clean bowl and lid. It will be a simple matter for them to try one or the other to see which one makes the difference. I am a service agent and that's what I do, it's far the easiest way to quickly find the problem.

How do I remove my cracked support bearing on my Kitchenaid food processor 1333?+

Do you mean the bearing on the motor shaft within that circular plastic ring that moves up and down when moving the slicing thickness lever? If yes then a couple of screwdrivers under it one on each side to lever it up. At the same time it will force the black shaft sleeve up and off the motor shaft.

KitchenAid KFPM770 motor runs 3 seconds and stops

Determine first if it really is the motor. Does it only cut out if loaded or will it happen without any load? Remove all bowls and blades, plug it in and turn the power on and press the on button. With something plastic press the small white button that is in the middle above the switch panel and normally hidden by the bowl. This is the safety cutout switch avtivated by the bowl, lid and pusher being in position. Does the motor run while the button is depressed or does it again cut out after a short time but with button still depressed. If it doesn't cut out it's likely that wear in the complicated mechanisms in the lid and bowl handle are releasing the cutout switch with small vibrations of motor running. I figure out which one to replace by swapping out one of the 2 parts for a new one as I try to carry both parts in stock for that purpose.

I have a food processor that worked fine the last time it was used, now it will not do anything.

You have probably solved this by now but generally it will be replacement of either the bowl or the lid to solve it. The mechanism is not overly robust within the handle & lid, movement gets lost and it won't activate that switch just above the button panel.

Very frustrated with kitchenaid food processor - using any slicing disk only the first batch of food works, when you put in the 2nd batch nothing happens

Mine is older and works fine once I realized bowl has to be snapped into place before the cover and then the cover has to be locked in. This activates a small button at the base of the bowl that activates a safety switch.

What do I check to see why my food processor will not turn on?

Have you checked the fue in the plug? It could also be a broken inside the main sheath near the plug or the processor. That's if something inside has not gone faulty.

My blade is stuck on, how do I get it off?

The blade will be stuck on the shaft and both will be damaged and require replacement. With that knowledge you now understand that drilling a hole sideways through the blade cap isn't wrecking anything you are going to use again. You can then get something into the hole for leverage. Here in NZ blades are under $20 and motor shaft sleeve is about $5. If you don't replace the parts it will happen again.

Kitchen aid food processor blade is not spining neither the motor

Remove bowl completely. Turn motor on and use something plastic to push in the little white button in that is just above the button control panel and normally hidden by the bowl base. If it goes then the problem will be either the working bowl or the lid. There are mechanisms in both that activate that micro switch, they can wear or break. Good luck figuring out which one it is as they are both as likely to be the faulty one.

The unit does not turn on, on/off switch OK, no burnt smell. It just stoped like it is unplugged

With the bowl off activate the safety switch and turn the machine on. If it runs you have a problem with the mechanisms in the lid or bowl that operate the safety switch.

Kitchenaid kfpw760 blade stem is stuck

The motor shaft sleeve and spindle will need to be replaced, once this jamming has happened it becomes ongoing if you do not replace those inexpensive parts. You need to wrap some webbing tightly around the spindle attach the other end to something very solid (like a fence post) and then accelerate the motor part rapidly away from the post. Hold onto the motor very firmly or it will land on the ground. The webbing tightens instantly when it runs out of slack and the spindle will come off. Then you need to remove the motor shaft sleeve in a similar manner, I drill a hole in the end and use a shackle and chain attached to the post for that one. I use the leg of my workshop bench, most folks will not have a solid heavy bench like mine. If that sounds too hard just take it to your local K/A service agent, they will have done it many times.
