I need a manual for a Kitchenaid Food Processor Model #KFP600WH

The Kitchenaid website doesn't recognize the model number you gave. Could it possibly be KFP760? If so, then here's a link to the free downloadable manual.

KitchenAid Food Processor 770 won't run

I am assuming the unit is getting power. The "power" LED should be lit up on the front of the unit.

The Kitchenaid food processors have a few safety features implimented. If the unit is not assembled properly, this may prevent the unit from turning on. Proper assembly is below:

If it isn't all ready, please disassemble the entire unit. This means removing the blade and/or disc, blade, removing work bowl, work bowl lid, and blade.

Start by placing the work bowl onto the motor base. The work bowl handle should be facing at 9 o'clock, which is out to your left. Rotate the handle downward until it locks in at the 6 o'clock position, which will lock over the center of the button panel.

Repeat the process with the work bowl lid. The blade does not need to be present for the motor to engage, if this is an assembly issue.

If this has not resolve the issue, please ensure the outlet is receiving power.

If the unit is still not functioning, take a close look at the bottom of the work bowl where it meets to the motor base. The work bowl, when locked in, depressed a gray plastic peg. This is the safety mechanism. You may trying depressing this peg on your own with a pencil. If this activates the motor, this may indicate your work bowl is no longer seating correctly.

Also check the work bowl handle to make sure nothing is cracked. There is a plastic assembly in the handle that acts as a second safety feature.

If either of these things seems to be the culprit, I would suggest seeking a new work bowl or work bowl lid to correct the issue.

Kitchenaid kneading blade stuck

Check that the safety lock pin is releasing from the base. It is the thing in the tube down the side of the bowl that the lug on the lid engages with. It stops the motor running with the lid off..https://www.google.com/search?q=Kitchen+Aid+food+processor+bowl+stuck..

Question about KitchenAid KFP0711 KFP0711OB 7-Cup Food Processor - I unscrewed the handle to clean it and the spring mechanism fell out. How does it go back together?

I have the 11 cup Kitchenaid food processor and did the same thing this weekend. It took a while but finally figured out how it went back together. Hopefully the pictures help. I know it's difficult to see since the pieces are all black. Good luck!

Lid is stuck in wrong direction will not come off

I got the lid off by using a turkey-skewer (i.e., a long pin) to push down on the long white plastic piece, in the handle, just above the spring. When you push it down far enough, you can twist the cover back over to the proper side. (We think we created this situation ourselves by mistakenly twisting the cover into place clockwise, rather than counter-clockwise.)

Kitchenaid food processor KFI 1325 brand new first use and won’t turn on

Make sure you have the bowl, lid and sometimes the pusher assembled correctly. If everything is not correct it will not activate the safety switch to allow it to start up.

My Kitchenaid KFP6000B food processor still works fine, but it is becoming very difficult to lock the blender top in place in order to turn it on, and then difficult to remove the top.

Possibly something about either the lid or the bowl has become deformed. Very likely you will need to replace one or the other.

Kitchenaid food processor KFP1642MS This model requires the bowl, lid and plunger to be installed before it works. With all items installed this processor has been intermittent and getting worse.

The solution is 90% going to be replace the lid, or replace the bowl or if you are very unlucky replace both. A proper KitchenAid service agent should have both parts on the shelf and will be able to try a new one of either to see where the fault lies. I think over the years I've replaced more lids than I have bowls.

KFP0711 Kitchenaid food processor won’t turn on even when put together. Just opened and never been used.

Read the handbook and make certain you are assembling the bowl, lid and pusher correctly, they can all play a part in activating the safety mechanisms that put the appliance in the mode that will allow it to be started.

Recently moved to Australia. Is there anyway I can

Without step-down transformers you are out of luck. I am sorry. I know the transformers are ugly but they are cheaper than replacing your food processor and espresso machine. One thing you could do is to contact Kitchen Aid and ask them if the motor can be wired for 240V. If not, ask them if you can purchase the 240V motor for your processor and replace it directly. As for the espresso machine, no idea...sorry.

I have a kitchenaid foodprocessor

food processors have interlocks between the bowl, the top and the base. Inspect to see that those are all making. When you lock the bowl to the base and the top to the bowl you should hear some clicks and see some interlock mechanisms line up at the back of the bowl.

I turned the lid of my KitchenAid food processor too far. Is there any way to get it off? It is very tight. I haven't been able to turn it back or front.

I don't see anything other than hot water and brute force doing anything to help. Probably a two person job and make sure you turn it the right way. Be prepared for something to be broken or damaged.

I have a KFP1356WH KITCHENAID food processor it will not turn on I have tried everything suggested in the manual and on your site and it still will not turn on. Any suggestions?

Most likely a failed drive motor or control board. Remove the motor and test it.
