Navy Seal Luminox Dive Watch Questions & Answers

Hi my navy
It sounds like the quartz crystal may be the problem, it must vibrate at a precise frequency which is critical in controlling the exact speed and thus translate into precision time. I would get the watch checked to if it can be fixed at a reasonable price.

I HAVE A LUMINOX 3100
If any battery operated watch starts losing time or displaying the incorrect time, this is usually indicative of a battery going bad and needing replacement. My Luminox 3100 started lagging in time and I noticed that the second hand would intermittently stop. I also have a Suunto Vector (Digital) wrist-top computer and the times along with the compass, altimeter, light and alarms all started to act crazy and all it happened to be was the battery being run down. Coincidentally the Suunto has a battery gage that only appears and flashes during low battery charge.
BL: Try the simplest thing first, change your battery. Please be very careful not to break the O-ring on any watch that's waterproof/resistant as this will render the protection useless. Also if your watch is still under a manufacturer or vendor's additional warranty, get them to change it as not to void your warranty. 'Hope this helps!

I need a replacement battery for an original navy
If anyone opted out to replace battery
in their own watch and do not know what type and size of battery is correct for replacement, just open your watch case back and reed and memorize all the writings on battery your watch allready has in it. All you can do now is to buy exactly the same replacement battery and you will never get it wrong. All that matters is the combination of letters and numbers on battery. Make is not important, so, it can be made by Casio, Maxell, Citizen, Ronda - you name it. Just make sure you are not buying some of those cheap, unknown maker batteries
, as they usualy lasts for about few weeks and then they are gone. Choose well known makers name and the battery will power your watch for 2-7 years, depending on each particular watch movement model. In case if you lost your original watch battery, check your watch instruction manual. If you lost both - battery and manual - then there is no other way, but to visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask for help. In your particular case I do not see the reason why you should find the battery, because any decent watchmaker has many different batteries in stock. All you have to do is to find your closest watch repair shop and ask watchmaker to replace the battery. No need at all to send it to Luminox, as this job can be done at any watch workshop with the same precision and quality. In addition you will save money for shipping and pay less for battery itself.

Watch second had is not consistant on how the
If you second hand is ticking in stutter steps, in other words it hesitates 2-3 seconds then quickly steps forward, and your watch is still keeping correct time that is an EOL (end of life) feature...your cell has become very low and it's the watchs way of telling you to replace the battery. Good luck :)
