The cords appear to run $8-15 before shipping, and it is possible to do some limited mixing and matching between brands. If that concerns you, contact your brand's own customer service for replacement parts information.

Here is the one included with the T-fal Cool Touch Deep Fryer (available from Target). Its design is probably the most 'universal' or most 'compatible' of the various minor variations I've seen, as it doesn't have the 45 degree angle or the key-lip I saw on some other cords:

if you can't find one somewhere believe it or not either Ace Hardware or autozone, advance auto, et al. sells gasket making material, cork, rubber, and teflon. Some in squeeze tubes. I assume for the lid?

If it is a non-magnet type you can purchase them here:
http://brands.hardwarestore.com/33-118-woods-industries.aspx

The first 2nd and 4th cords are the female cords.
I am thinking this is the cord your looking for:
http://electrical.hardwarestore.com/12-33-appliance-replacement-cords/appliance-cord-652573.aspx
Fits all standard brand roasters, broilers and deep fryers using pin spacing of 1-1/16".

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

You can to see if it just heats but not to see if it gets to temp. Water boils well below what the preset for oil for frying will be. You will literally boil your experiment out before you get there. That can fry electronics. Be CAREFUL.

It is NOT hot enough when you FIRST drop them in, it should be hot enough so that they Float, immediately they are dropped in.
