i have exactly the same problem, i need a new lid, but i cannot seem to find anywhere that sells spare parts...?

If they were MY meatballs, I would use just a tiny bit of water--no more than 1/2 a cup, just to retain moisture and keep it from burning.

Rival does not sell the cooker separately. Watch for a sale and buy a whole new pot, then you will have 3 crocks. Too many? These often sell well on EBay.

Replaced the new one in the kitchen with the old one I put out to pasture. Problem solved. I'm back in the slow cooking business.

I had the exact same thing. I got it about 1.5 years ago and just now am opening it only to find the ceramic inside is broken. I am going to try to call the crock pot service center tomorrow. Let me know if you found a solution that might help me! Thanks!

No do not put water under the removable bowl. Do you have the manual for it. If not get me the make and model # and I will try to get you the manual

true , you need to be carefull if your missing the rubber tips ,and you cant buy them but you might find something that will work for you at your home town hardware store ( not home deopt ) somewhere you can take the crock pot right in and ask a salesman about it . he might just know what you need and where it is . good luck
