Here are some of the useful steps to make a milk free
ice cream.
1.) Microwave the chocolate and butter-substitute for thirty seconds in a microwave-safe bowl.
2.) Add a dash of salt, and a splash of vanilla extract to taste.
3.) Put a scoop of marshmallow fluff into the bowl and stir it in thoroughly.
4.) Remove the spoon, lick it clean, and wait up to 5 minutes for your mixture to become room temperature.
5.) Place it in the freezer for 50 minutes, remove, and if it is still not frozen well, then stir it thoroughly and place it back in the freezer for another 20 minutes.

Actually you will be able to get Rival ice cream maker replacement parts from Sears. You may call them at 1-800-252-1698 . Just get your model number ready when you call. You may also want to try if they can provide you parts for Sterling ice cream maker.

contacting Rival to see if they sell a replacement motor. Nothing is listed on their parts and accessories page. It may just be more economical to buy a new ice cream maker, though. Most of the cost is likely to be in the motor, and even if the motor's available it may be just a few dollars more for a whole new appliance. Amazon.com lists two almost identical models by a company called Maxi-Matic, a
6-quart model for $69.99 and a
4-quart for about $10 less. You might be better off just buying new and get a warranty with it.
Sadly, almost every small appliance now is a throw-away item.
