How can I download pictures?

Two ways - either attach the camera to a spare USB port on the computer with the supplied lead, and treat the camera as a satellite drive, or else remove media device and use a separate card reader to copy the images to the computer.

How to recover the deleted photos, there is no memory stik

You can very often recover deleted pictures from USB Memory stick. However, to increase the chances of being able to undelete pictures after they have been deleted you must not save any new photos, files or data to it.Then you can follow the guide below to undelete photos: http://www.any-data-recovery.com/topics/photo/undelete-photos.html

My driver.

Reload the drivers. I had the same problem. I had to keep reloading because windows sucks now that everything is automatic and you have to SPECIALIZE in windows. I have the original CD and the drivers.

Not able to transfer pictures from the camera to computer. Computer says device not ready

For some cameras you actually have to turn on the camera after connecting it to the computer. Also, make sure you are using the USB cable to transfer photos, not the 1394 port (if equipped).

How to delete the pictures on my chameleon xp

Like an external hard-drive, when you either plug in your camera or insert the memory card into your computer, it will show up as a hard-drive or external device. if you go to 'my computer' in windows, or on the desktop in mac, you will be able to see the icon that represents said device. open the folder representing the device and navigate through the file until you find the directory where your photos are stored. usually it says 'dcim' or something like that. once you locate your photos, simply delete the ones you want to get rid of and copy/or cut and paste the ones you want to keep. from there you can free up some room or completely wipe out your storage for your camera. Bam, spagettios.

Why won't the camera download

Try NOT using a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
