Where the filter is located

There are no filters on jetted bathtubs. There is a screen with dozens of holes located in the footwell of the tub. that is the suction cover. the water flows through that screen into the front of the pump and then out through each of the water jets.

Most Kohler tubs have a water sensor or water level sensor. Is this an air bath tub (holes in the floor)? or a jetted tub? If it is an air bath, the tub will purge after using it 15 to 30 minutes ater it is drained. If it is programable it will come on every 24 hours if it has been programmed. If it is a jetted tub, there may have been water on the sensor and caused it to start up. If it is a single on/off button the switch could have gotten water and caused it to start up, or there is a problem with the control box. It usually will not start a fire if it comes on, most of the newer pumps have run dry seals. If you leave the house for vacation or weekends, I would advise unplugging the tub or turning off the breaker.

Those controls have not been made for quite a few years now. you will have to come up with your own new finish for that trim.

It is called the suction intake- the pump sucks the water in through the suction intake. It serves as a hair and particle trap (safety device). Some suction intakes can be unscrewed counter-clockwise, others have a round cover that can be popped off with a flathead screwdriver (the cover conceals a philips head screw).

You have a bad capacitor its located on the top of the electric pump motor. Be sure to turn off the power before attempting to replace it.

I have an old Jacuzzi: Kohler Foil 60250. It Sometimes works via the lightswitch. Don't need the timer to work, just want to be able to turn the jets ON/OFF via the lightswitch.

Rent a multimeter and test your connections. As well as checking the breaker

How to change the battery in the kohler veil toilet?

The only batteries are in the docking station. If the remote is attached to the docking station, take that off and set it aside. Next, carefully lift the docking station up and out from the mounting bracket. Look at the back of the docking station, push the two tabs outwards (away from each other) simultaneously to open the battery compartment cover. Replace the batteries (4 AAs) in the correct orientation. Reinstall the cover. Then replace the docking station on the mounting bracket and put the remote back on the dock if desired.
