once you turn your unit down it will blow just the fan till it calls for cool air again . like for example if you have your unit at 68 & you turn it up to 73 your unit want call for cool air till it reach 74 , then it will work till it has met the coolin stage and it will blow fan again unit it reach 74 and it will do the same thing .. i hope this is just the only thing that is wrong and that is just the only problem you have ... see if this works for you.....

If your a/c unit is portable,and E1 code most always is "air filter cleaning time" or" water level to high ".
To reset air filter interval turn unit off at power switch then unplug.Hold power switch down while plugging in....unit will go through a short self check then beep.Release power button after beep.Unit should now be reset.
To reset water level....just drain some.....not all.
Most portables use water for increase cooling......so leave some in.

try turning it off holding buttons each individually in for 3 secs then in an hour plug back in ... the rep from Haier gave me this advice ... just waiting my hour now ... i also hear that the remote works for sure ...

You can’t this is the way it runs so the unit doesn’t burn it self out

If the circuit breaker is the proper size for the unit (see the manufactures installation instructions), then the high current tripping the breaker is most likely a failure of the compressor. It is stalling causing high current. You may be on the verge of having to replace a worn out unit. If the unit is more than 7 years old, you may hav reached the end of it's life.

no low on gas would not work at all the unit set temp may be close to the room temp There is about 5 degree + or minus around the temp setting so if you have it set for 20 C and the room or ambient temp is 22 C that would be one reason for the short cycle of course you could always get in a technician for a proper diagnosis

Your drain is plugged with dust or residue. Can you remove the drain plug/pan and clean it out?

Clogged vents, inlets or output can cause overheating during operation. Better power supplies "shutdown" to protect themselves and the unit... I think your Display is telling you this IS a "ON" time... but the internal protection(s) MAY be preventing proper operation. It's likely you machine is twisted and not sitting square/true. Try holding the bottom while slightly twisting the top one direction or the other.

Likely overshooting setpoint temperature to reach desired humidity setpoint. Check for dehumidification settings on tstat.
