I have the same problem with the USB's not working. Suppliers say Motherboard problem. solved it by purchasing a PCMCIA to USB port. at least i now have 2 USB ports. you could probably get one with 3 ports.

I can give you the site you can search by Product ID :
so you must do the following :

expand the Start Menu -> right Click on My Computer ->Properties

Choose the Hardware Tab -> Device Manager.
thin double click on the device and choose the details Tab

copy the ID of device and past in this site and start search...

ok laptops are extremely trickey to pull apart they have screws all over the place and hidden under things,just above the keyboard there is a panel with the power button etc, under the panel are the screws to remove the keyboard. to remove the panel it will simply pry off with a screw driver or there may be screws on the back at the bottom of the screen, i couldn't bring up a reliable pic of your laptop so this info may be useless if it is configured differently if so sorry

May be the cause of OS files currept.
Plese follow the below stpe:

1. Boot up the system with OS cd.
2. At last there will be the two option (recovery and installation)
slect recovery for further steps.

Are you trying to reboot the Computer or reinstall the Windows Operating System? For reboot, you can press and hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds.

try takeing the battery out and power lead and holding the power button pressed for about a minute ,plug ur battery back in and try

just install your DSL internet providers SOFTWARE and maybe it fix by it self. ok

maybe you have just displased its locks ,press it firmly and see if it clicks
otherwise you have to find an spare one to install after removing the older key in some models the keyboards must be changed throughly

The BIOS battery keeps the Date and Time correct, if the battery is flat the date and time will be wrong or you will get an error date and time error.
You need to replace the battery with a new one. Your friendly computer shop can help you if you don't know how to change the battery.
