The turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven. In some brands, you have to cut the motor cover off with snips, then use a screw when reassembling it.

That - plus maybe adding another 8-10 pounds for safety - us what your installation needs to be able to handle.

I would think the average cabinet could handle that, but it may be better to add a small steel plate or large washer surrounding the mounting screws to help disperse the weight load.

The owner's manual describes the installation kit you can use to mount it in a cabinet or in the wall, etc. That may be helpful.

It sounds like you may have an intermittent door switch or loose door switch mount.

Does it work differently when you wiggle the door?

I hope you didn't run the microwave with nothing in the cavity, if you did, it will damage the magnetron. The turntable dishes do get hot depending on the quality of the glass used to make it. Heat is caused by impurities in the glass. If you run it with no food in the oven, the glass will try to absorb the energy with atastrophic results usually.

The thermistor has failed. Replace the thermistor with the Sharp approved type and part number.

It is a motorized drawer and I doubt it likes being opened manually. It would need to be repaired professionally due to the inherent dangers of microwave energy. No. Take how long it takes for this thing to open/close and add another 4-8 seconds of waving your hands (which are full food, else you'd just press the button) to then wait for the drawer to open. Push to close works well, but it reacts in a weird way, so some concern I'm breaking it.
