- Use a hammer and a small punch or similar tool to knock out the middle post of the screw, then use a standard T20 Torx bit to remove the screws. (Use safety glasses).

- Insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver (such as a jeweler’s type) into the slot between the post and the edge, tap the screwdriver firmly with a hammer to loosen the screw, grip the screwdriver with pliers, and remove the screw.

- Use a hacksaw or Dremel tool to cut a slot in the head of the screw, then use a flat-bladed screwdriver to remove the screws. (Use safety glasses).

Once the cover's off, you can see the door opening parts. It's probably the lever.

It is a motorized drawer and I doubt it likes being opened manually. It would need to be repaired professionally due to the inherent dangers of microwave energy. No. Do you get a notification each time the microwave finishes cooking? Yes. I guarantee you will delete the app within 48 hours. Hand Wave to open. Neat right? No. Take how long it takes for this thing to open/close and add another 4-8 seconds of waving your hands (which are full food, else you'd just press the button) to then wait for the drawer to open. Push to close works well, but it reacts in a weird way, so some concern I'm breaking it. I stopped doing wave to open after the first week and stopped trying to demonstrate it to friends after one month (cause it will make you look silly). This appears to be an Australian model and these are the only spares I can find. They do sell the latches. If the hinges are damaged and causing this, you will feel movement. If it shuts down it is faulty. Take it in for professional repair. They are too dangerous to work on. There is 125,000 volts in the capacitor just waiting for you to get near it. The magnetron will make you blind in about 15 seconds and the core is a poisonous heavy metal. It is a $2,190.00 commercial microwave so worth getting repaired professionally. It must have earned its money.
