How to transfer files from PC to PC without Internet and cables?
Hi Jillian,
The easiest way to do this is with an external hard drive, that way you copy all of the data you want to the external and then copy it back to the other notebook. This is probably the quickest and easiest way to do it.
If you want to copy the data over the Wi-Fi, then you would have to share the folders that you want to copy on the first notebook, by finding the folder you want to share using File Explorer. Right click on that folder and then go to properties. In the properties window, look for the share option and then 'share' the folder, pick 'everyone' to share it with, and then make sure it is set to read/write.
This will then give you a share address, which would look like \\mycomputer\desktop (or the name of the folder you have chosen to share) make a note of the share address or path.
Go to the other notebook open file explorer and then type in the address bar (at the top) the path you made a note of earlier i.e. \\mycomputer\desktop
This should open the shared folder on the other notebook and then you can copy the data over the Wi-Fi.
Generally Wi-Fi copying can be slow, if you have a cable (ethernet) then connect both computers to the router using a cable and this will be quicker than using the Wi-Fi.
Good luck with your copying, Mike.

I can't watch Internet TV channels on my AIM smart TV
what country?
what ISP?
the TV can connect to your home router 2 ways,
wifi or Ethernet wired, if not , all streaming will fail.
I guess the TV spart screen players are all dead, but you never named at least 1 that is dead. if all are even free ones
then your TV is not connected to your home network
do all TVs at home fail
do all PCs connected to your router fail wired or WIFI
does your CELL phone wifi work? or shows not connected.
we now covered the way.
next you ask for cures right, well get your routers wifi credientials.
SSID name and password
then at the TV set up that in the TV settings under wifi.
end.

I'm in Northeastern California in Modoc County, Davis Creek. I can't get internet here. Is there any internet providers that will be coming to this area. Frontier does not service our area.
well every inch of USA is covered with Hughes net.
also why not just talk to your neighbors first , I am sure they have advice..
did you google first this? coverage?
CABLE TV does you home have that? the box that comes into the home will clearly be marked, with a name, like Comcast or such.
there is no fiber to home, there, Im sure,(FIOS)
there may be 3/4/5G wireless service, ask your cell phone service for that,. we have verizon here, and 5g is here.
in the end it is a matter of cost, how much you want to pay.
wired or wireless or fiber.
now I will google for you (no zip code told and MATTERS HUGELY)
hit 1:

Losing internet connection
- Move closer to the Wi-Fi router / hotspot. In case of suspected interference - move your router in a different place
- Update your network adapter drivers and modem / router firmware by checking the manufacturers' websites.
- Power cycle (restart) your router, smartphone and computer.
- Check the cable that runs into your modem / router and the one that connects that to your computer.
- If on a public Wi-Fi network, connect to another one.
Ultimately, you can contact your ISP about the Internet drops - they might be having a temporary issue

I recently got a new router and now I can not get my acorn tv. It says I have no internet service?
Adjust the video playback settings within the app
Visit the app's "Settings" menu (the small gear icon on the top right of the nav bar) and enable the "Play Video Over WiFi Only" setting
Make sure you're running up-to-date software. The Acorn TV app requires iOS 9+
Visit Settings > General > Software Update to update iOS on your phone or ipad.
Disconnect other devices from your network
Delete and then reinstall the Acorn TV app
