Rheem RTG53DVP code 82
Before calling service technician, open following link for resources including error codes, Rheem chat and possible manual:

Error codes are considered start-point for troubleshooting, and give service technician direction for isolating problem.
Error 82 appears as 'gas type data failure' > 'Program PC board for proper gas type.'

Gas type is choice between LP gas and NG natural gas.
Gas type programming is controlled with dip switch setting.
I do not have service manual for product, and would not suggest changing dip switches without specific information beforehand.

I have a Rheem RHIN-CHL25P The error code 160 keeps coming on. Do you know what the problem is? This is a new unit.
this from Rheem error codes Error Code 60 FAULT = Hot Water Temperature Abnormality
  1. Press the Power button to clear the Error Code. If Error happens again:
  2. Ensure water heater inlet and outlets are open and water is supplied to the water heater.
  3. If Error happens again:
  4. Ensure water heater inlet and outlets are open and water is supplied to the water heater.
  5. Check the pump operation.
  6. If it doesn't work, ensure wiring connections to pump.
  7. If even supply power to pump and doesn't run it, replace the pump.
  8. If Error happens again:
  9. Verify recirculation loop length is within specification. Air purge is not enough.
  10. Too much restriction on recirculation loop.
  11. Return loops are clogged.
  12. Check the recirculation loop condition.

Rheem furnace error code 68 fix?
Hi, From what I'm seeing this means that there is a bad part within your furnace and it needs to be replaced. It might be the thermostat. You might need to reach out to a local HVAC company to diagnose the issue in person. Thank you.

Rheem Failed Ignition lockout
the gas valve can be replaced, but you will have to pay for installation. this is not a DIY. You can throw money and parts at it. Personally I've replaced my water heater at the first sign of problems. Are they inexpensive no If you furnish model number I can look further.

My new Rheem 27 tankless hot water system is not hot
if system is new call whomever installed it and it repaired under warranty. there are several reasons unit is not producing hot water. First thing I would check is temp setting. Again call for service under warranty.

My Rheem tankless heater has a E4 error code,how do I fix it,,do I need a technician?
An E4 error code on your 45 model tankless water heater, indicates that there is an issue involving the flow meter sensor (also referred to as cold water temperature sensor.) This means that the flow meter is not sending a signal to the computer which starts the machine. Possible broken wire, poor connection or faulty sensor.
