check your water pressure and then make sure it is not to high or all the problems you have had were not the answer. it is a pressure /temperature valve not just . temp.
If you have overheating, the elements are working fine and are not suspect. Also electric power and circuit breaker are eliminated. ECO reset is not tripped, so that points to faulty TP vlave, but water temperature has to reach 180 degrees F for ECO to trip. Open link to see ECO located on upper thermostat. http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Jly-022-thermostat2-175.jpg
Remaining suspects are 1) bad thermostat or 2) faulty TP valve or 3) Stacking or 4) combination of the 3. Raise TP lever and gently let back down and see if something was lodged in the valve.
The three most common reasons for this happening to you are 1) a defective gas valve, 2) a rusty thermopile, and/or 3) the automatic shut-off not working as it should.
So, the most common reason for many people having this problem stems from having a gas valve that is not working as it should. When your gas control valve is faulty, it will mean that your burner is not going to be igniting as it should-or at all.
Something that worked for me one time was to turn the Temp all the way down then all the way to Max a couple of times..gradually.
Why it worked I don't know. Got a couple more years out of it though. Good luck!
Best to you.

Hi,
From what I'm seeing this means that there is a bad part within your furnace and it needs to be replaced. It might be the thermostat. You might need to reach out to a local HVAC company to diagnose the issue in person.
Thank you.
Rheem furnace error code 68 is a mechanical relay system which signals the blower motor to stop because it has not received a signal from the thermocouple.

if system is new call whomever installed it and it repaired under warranty. there are several reasons unit is not producing hot water. First thing I would check is temp setting. Again call for service under warranty.
the gas valve can be replaced, but you will have to pay for installation. this is not a DIY. You can throw money and parts at it. Personally I've replaced my water heater at the first sign of problems. Are they inexpensive no If you furnish model number I can look further.

An E4 error code on your 45 model tankless water heater, indicates that there is an issue involving the flow meter sensor (also referred to as cold water temperature sensor.) This means that the flow meter is not sending a signal to the computer which starts the machine.
Possible broken wire, poor connection or faulty sensor.
