My ECS M825G motherboard has no battery? that I
Hi,

All motherboards have what we call a RTC battery. This means Real Time Clock which keeps the time and date and also the BIOS setting while the computer is turned off.

Look at the picture below for what the battery looks like and you should find it with ease >>>>

check if you new processor is compatible for you mother board..if it is compatible, try reinsert the RAm or replaced it with a new RAM...hope it helps you..

Can i upgrade the memory chips so my i tunes
go to www.crucial.com and click on 'scan my system'. It will tell you if you can increase the RAM.
here are the specs
• 2 x 184-pin DIMM sockets support two 2.5V DDR SDRAMs (DDR333/266/200)
• Maximum memory : 2GB

It may be your video card, this is an old low end motherboard so it will struggle playing HD movies.

NO SIGNAL IN MONITOR
If other than the monitor signal everything else works, i.e. he disk activitiy light flickers while loading the OS or thekeyboard lights come on and then off during power on reset and no beeps other than a short one, a far fetched possibility for this error would be that the on board VGA is confused for any reason. Use the jumper 2 to reset the BIOS to factory default and try again. If the problem persist the best solution will be adding a VGA card to the AGP slot. Socket A is also known as socket 462 AMD.

I can't install a cpu heat sync because my mobo
from what iv found out looking at picks are you sure you have the right heat sink (there are diffrent ones out there) you need to have one for a socket A they are very hard to get hold of new and anything with out that on will NOT fit found all this out when i had to replace mine
