Hi Bowmunster, Sounds like it could be a couple of things - the run capacitor could have failed or the compressor has seized - having said that a wire could have burnt off the compressor terminals Good luck

Maybe the reboot did the trick - with lots of the electronics now on common appliances and gadgets, a reboot, as in computers, often does the trick. Continue to monitor so that if the issue re occurs you have it addressed under warranty.

Most likely one of two issues is occurring. Either the inducer fan is not providing enough draft because it is either spinning too slowly or the impeller is damaged, or the pressure switch that the inducer motor air flow is supposed to activate is not operating properly. If the pressure switch fails to activate, the furnace will not open the gas valve and fire the ignition believing that there is not sufficient draft the vent the combustion gases.

It is going out on high head pressure wash the outside coil on the comdenser

check indoor fan motor

check the two sensors, one of the sensors to be defective

no 240 volts at unit, bad contactor, 24 volts not there to pull contactor in.

need to take coil cleaner and spray the underside of coil with fan running. when you turn a/c back on it will rinse itself through condensate.

should get a 10 to 12 degree drop between supply and return air.
