There is a fuse inside that controls the microwave module and the turntable motor. You have to take the cover off to access it. The problem lies with what made the fuse blow. It's usually the high voltage transformer or the microwave module itself. If the oven has some age on it, it usually is not cost efficient to repair an old microwave.
A thermal protector on the magnetron or cavity could totally shut the oven off, but it seems unlikely it would be for exactly 5 minutes each time. I'd check that anyway. Could be a problem with the microprocessor on the main board. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_29ad5d1dd86564b0
Check for a defective door switch (usually secondary switch) to see if it is functional. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_29ad5d1dd86564b0
Most likely if the fuse blew the part that creates the microwave energy is defective, it is called the "Magnetron" Just replace the oven is my suggestion.
Please try by typing " SearsPartsDirect" into the search engine on your computer and that will bring you to a web site asking you for a model number of your oven.
Find that long number and type it in, and you should find a users manual available to you, or you will find a phone number to ask for help.
God bless your efforts.
