Cooking Rice
Ironically, I came to this site with the same questin you posted. I just found my manual. This is how tha manual tells you to steam rice:
Place one of the steamer baskets on the steamer base.
Place 1 cup of rice and 10 ozs of water in the rice bowl.
Place the rice bowl on the steamer basket and cover the steamer.
Set timer for approximately 32 minutes, depending on your taste.
Good luck!
Tefal Actifry 2 in 1 paddle is going backwards. Can anyone help fix this?
These devices use a synchronous motor, and they work on AC current cycles rather than voltage.
Normally you can make them reverse two ways.
Unplug and reconnect quickly until it runs the right way.
or
make it turn the right way by hand before turning it on by giving it a hand in the correct direction.
But backwards is not a problem, mine goes both ways.

How can I disassemble a Tefal Easy Fry EY1018 airfryer?
- Unplug the air fryer: Before starting any disassembly, ensure the air fryer is unplugged from the power source to prevent electrical accidents.
- Remove the basket and pan: Take out the cooking basket and pan from the air fryer and set them aside.
- Locate screws or clips: Examine the exterior of the air fryer for any visible screws or clips that hold the casing together. These are typically located on the underside or at the back of the unit.
- Remove screws or clips: Using the appropriate tools (such as a screwdriver or pry tool), carefully remove the screws or unclip the casing to access the internal components.
- Separate the casing: Gently pry apart the casing of the air fryer, being mindful not to force it and to avoid damaging any internal components.
- Disassemble internal components: Once the casing is removed, you may have access to the internal components of the air fryer, such as the heating element, fan, and control panel. Take note of the arrangement of parts and any connections.
- Proceed with caution: Handle internal components carefully and avoid causing damage or disconnecting any wires or cables unnecessarily.
- Reassemble: After completing the necessary maintenance or repairs, carefully reassemble the air fryer in the reverse order, ensuring all parts are properly aligned and securely fastened.
- Test the air fryer: Before using the air fryer again, plug it into a power source and test that it functions correctly.
If you're unsure about disassembling your Tefal Easy Fry EY1018 air fryer, it's advisable to consult the user manual or seek assistance from a qualified technician or customer support representative.

Tefal GV9360 causing mains failure
I guess what you mean is your steam generator is tripping one of the breakers in your consumer unit.
If it is the RCD it means current is leaking to ground.
If it is an MCB it means there is a short circuit or overload.
Both conditions mean the unit needs some serious looking at and with a portable appliance it is worth checking the power cord and plug for damage or loose wiring, however steam generators of various types and steam irons that these days the manufacturers claim can be used with tap water (straight from the faucet) can still suffer from limescale problems in hard water areas. Water dumps it's mineral content at 140 degrees F.
Scale build up on the heating element will tend to break away due to the expansion as it heats but stubborn bits will remain tending to cause hotspots and uneven heating and uneven expansion hastening element failure.
That might be your problem and a multimeter won't always find it. Sometimes there is visible evidence and sometimes it needs a test with a Megger.
Of course it might be something else...
